  1. I am jealous. Last weekend at Boulder Phillycore was telling me all sorts of stories about his Tahoe experiences. I'd love to get out there next season Have fun, take lots of pics !!

I do, I skipped today since the next 3 classes are just practice exams before the final. I don't need 3 practice exams so long as I study a little each day on the bus. The the 2nd half starts again after the New Year. It will be sad to not have my Saturday morning first tracks This season is a sacrifice for me, following seasons I will have vacation time + other days to take off and plenty of funding to spend that vacation time at mountains outside of the Poconos

7:30-8:30 Sat & Sun for Superpass holders only. The publix has to sit in the snow and watch the select few lap the Sully and or soon Stevenson when it opens.
  5. I have to say the first tracks pass perk is the best thing since cold meat between sliced bread for the working man, I hate crowds! Even though Camelback lacks the vert and glades of some surrounding mountains this perk will keep me a pass holder so long as I'm employed M-F. I woke up a little late this morning because of another late night at the casino, pulled into the Sunbowl lot at 8:00 jumped on the lift and walked over to the Sully for 30 min of quiet time on the hill. First run was down Big Pocono which was nice hard pack groomers with a couple little dips that could potentially take you down if not looking closely. Next I hit Rocket which was fairly nicely groomed but also had a few tricky groomer dips. I then hit up Marc, Cleo & Caesar a couple times mixing in Marjies which was definitely ROTD very well groomed and some fun woopdy doos at the bottom. I disregarded birches because I just didn't feel like skating over there and that was the only trail open on the side, it will give me something to check out tomorrow anyways if they don't close due to the rain. I was fiddling with the Phresheeze on the lift for the first 5 or 6 runs and finally got it working, awesome app!! The crowds really weren't that bad but they started coming in around 9:30. I was satisfied with my day already with the lack of terrain and only Sullivan to lap off of so I headed out at 9:40, came home and made a turkey sausage, steeze and egg on rye and took a nap. JADIP
  6. Will the Stevenson be spinning this weekend?
  7. Love the report Ross great work. I miss working with Terry, great guy.
  8. Nice I'm on the early bus out of the city right now Ill be heading up in a couple hours to make some turns through the park!
  9. Marketing, to add 1 more to the trail count.
  10. I love Boulders realist marketing, PROPS!
  11. Quality + Quantity = LTD
  12. Let's pool together all our Christmas money and buy it!
  13. Same here with the app crashing, I just joined on the website using my PC and logged in on the phone and it appears to be running smoothly. There must just be a bug with the sign up portion of the app.
  14. Just downloaded this app for iPhone. Looks sick, thanks for sharing!
  15. So true, they basically made a donation to Boulder when they didn't have to. Opening with more terrain next weekend isn't going to draw people from their home mountains that will be open with whatever terrain now.
  16. That's the typical marketing BS we see everywhere. IMO it does more damage than good.
  17. Wish I could be there today , def tomorrow have fun!
  18. +1, what about the PASR day ?
  19. Agreed very lame $$$s goes to Boulder with it's limited terrain pool Camelback.
  20. Wait WTF is the mountain opening Sunday and only tubing park terrain park Saturday? I don't get the point of 10am opening Sunday so they don't miss out on snowmaking temps if it's only for terrain park. Your not going to make snow on top of features until 10am you can't open a terrain park with burried features, what gives?
  21. Jay Peak is always the big winner but that's a secret. Ssssssshhhhhhhh
  22. They definately can. It would be a retarded business decision to give Boulder allthe weekend ticket sales and open on Monday. I still have some faith they may suprise us tomorrow.
  23. They posted on Facebook opening next week.... Pushing it off to a weekday would be plain stupid. The person who controls their facebook isn't the most reliable though so let's hope it's Sunday.
  24. I'm sure they will be more than happy to have all the Blue Moutain passholders in attendance this weekend
