haha that was the style back than man, they were probably the gnarliest shredders in the Poconos at the time lol, I wonder if they still ride. I found the video on Vimeo searching for local vids they have like 5 of them and they were all recently uploaded. Heres another one they posted from 94. You can see it getting more modern as the years go by.

I was just browseing videos and came upon this video.

The larger park is groomed out to be a normal trail. I didn't check out Standard park because it put you out by a slow lift. There was a really really nice 3 or 4 his/hers jump line and a few jibs at the bottom of the tripple chair that kids were steezin on all day. I took a picture with my phone but forgot the thing I need to put it on my PC. It wasn't worth sessioning to me though the snow at the top of the mountain was soooo nice and the natural terrain on the bumped up steeps and in the woods at the top was just as if not more thrilling than riding park.

Just got to Stowe!!! 6hrs 35min drive from Stroudsburg the people at the front desk also said that the conditions have been great this week with the fresh snowfall. Off to meet GSS for a safety meeting and to plan the epic adventures to come starting tomarrow morning.

Incredible, I have yet to experience what it is like out west.

The snow is never PA like in the trees even if the trails are solid We'll have to search for some freshy mad technical tree lines off trail but of course there must be a safety meeting before & somtimes a refresher while ventureing into the forest.

Thats true I forgot Jay was a ways further North from Stowe. My last trip I was smack dab in the middle of Jay & Stowe, I'll be sticking with Stowe the same.

haha I just follow my GPS with a mapquest printout for a backup I've only been up to Stowe once. Does anyone have any plans of visiting Jay Peak? I was flirting with the idea of buying a stowe 2 day ticket and maybe doing a half day sunday at Jay..... not sure or just buy a 3 day ticket at Stowe or just save Sunday for travel time to be home for easter................. AHHHHHHHH!! decision decisions but none the less STOKED!

It's official i seen my previous itinerary was no longer available which was a single King bed. They're filling up fast Johnny Styles make sure you book asap!!! If somehow you get screwed and they get overbooked let me know and you can split lodgeing with me the nights you come since I got stuck with a double bed room. I'll be leaving tomarrow morning riding Friday, Saturday, & possibly Sunday. SO STOKED!! Looking forward to riding April pow with PASR's finest.

I know.... I'm so tempted to just hit the book button right now but waiting to see if my friends cell turns on and if he's going to be up there this weekend or coming home for Easter.

I'll be there the same days you are rollin solo I deicided I should do 3 nights leaving thurs so i'm nice and fresh and too ease travel time. As long as the weather is gonna be nice and my I can keep the positive mentality to do the trip solo I be derrrrrr. Nothing beats some fresh tracks in trees with the trees livin the dream

I most definately am thinking about it. My friend still wants to go but he's having car troubles so it's a toss up with that, I'm not sure if I will drive myself because a 7 hr drive & stay is no fun solo. If he can't fix his car he isn't going to go because he'll need the cash to fix his car. Not sure whats gonna happen yet but I'd love to go.
