Agreed ice sucks weither you can ride it or not. It got off the sully and stared coasting towards king tut to try and see the new progression park as soon as I went to kick when I lost speed my foot just slid could barely get grip to kick lol. I'm hoping they'll do a good job grooming tonight and it wont be so bad tomarrow but I don't know tomarrow is going to be in the mid 30's but overcast and this weekend its supposed to hit the 50's than drop again the next day seems like more icy conditions for the week to come.

I got there around 1:30pm today and took about 3 runs. The lift lines werent crowded I had to wait no more than 60 seconds to get on either of the quads. I left though because of all the rain the mountain was solid as a rock smooth ice everywhere. Most of the crowd was sitting somewhere on the hill because they couldn't handle the ice.

Web cams been blacked out for the past few days for some reason. I think it went black during the snowstorm, this rain blows but I think they're fine. I live nearby in Stroudsburg and it rained all day but my yard is still completely white with quite a few inches still down.

and you live in tannersville to lol Who would of guessed CB would finally live up to its hype after infinate years. I'm sure boulder will get much better as the season progresses though, it's still early.

What I listed is broken down into 3 lines on one trail. You can't hit every feature in one run but it's a very nice setup.

But...... did they add to upper/lower moore's ramble? It says they're open on their daily conditions are they just open as runs or are features over there also?

Unfortunately I was out of town today and wasn't able to make it up but I noticed on their website they have almost every park trail listed as open by the rhodo. Did they add features to those trails yet or is it still just what was set up on Rhodo?

No it's not a joke, lol. Thats why they're running the raceway now instead of the glenn because they are inspecting all of the chairs. I didn't see it actually happen but I think it fell in the bottom terminal and no one was hurt.

Agreed 100% especially on the level of difficulty in the park for opening weekend although it is still the best park CB has ever had. I think the reason for them setting up a more difficult park early season is merely because they're trying to showcase their new jibs so people come check it out and want to ride CB more this winter. They did promise they would open with Rhodo and Rhodo is CB's "expert" park so it was somewhat expected.

It was real nice until about 5:00 a chair fell off the glenn lift and they shut it down to inspect it. I left after that lol.

The new features look great. Are you getting more than that or is that it for this season thus far? Also please tell the groomers that the jibs don't need be on on 20ft piles of snow this year.

NO! You must be kidding me, I live a bit higher than in town Stroudsburg though, where are you located? I'm up 191 past godfreys ridge about 4 miles on poplar valley road on top a hill. I somtimes get snow when Broad St. at the bottom of 191 gets nothing. I have 3 jibs all set out in the yard just waiting to be snowed on:(

Someone spill the beans already!! Will Freedom be open this weekend? They have the potential to make plenty of snow on it before Saturday and with all this natural snow should make it even easier or are they sticking to their word about not starting until Nov 1st.

Whats accumulated so far by 4pm in Stroudsburg? Preferably up 191 towards Bangor if anyone lives in that direction. I'm at work right now and I had to drive through 4in of snow in NJ on my way to NYC it's driving me nuts. It was raining when I left my house!!! I"m preying when I get home tonight there's at least a few inches.

What are you trying to say? Are you trying to argue the wet bulb at 27 degress on Wed night? Snow can most definately be made at 27 degrees depending on the humidity.

Your the moron, any ski resort can do it as well as any person. I do it every year at my house with my own snow gun.

I got some more info. Weather permitting they're going tomake on the coolmoore wednesday night set up a few jibs on thursday and be open for hiking friday. I also caught wind that boulder plans to open somthing up this weekend weather permitting. Wednesday is looking like a great night for snowmaking, lets hope this happens:)

I caught wind that CB is planning on taking advantage of the one cold night this week Wendsday and making snow on the bunny hill for a hikable park to open soon??? Can anyone clarify this?

I don't think CB has the terrain for the the jump line Boulder has. The boulder park trail w/o any snow looks like it was in itself designed for those jumps.
