  1. Just Tahoe for me this year, hoping for more big powder days than the last 2 years. Unless some work driven trips to Europe allow some options over there. We are not getting our Squaw/Alpine passes for this year, trying to spend more time at some of the other resorts. Definitely Kirkwood a few times, probably quite a few days at Sugarbowl, at least 1 trip to Mt Rose and I might give Heavenly another chance if they get a decent amount of snow. Late season will probably by next years pass to Squalpine and ride the spring out on that.
  2. It is at least a lively thread
  3. OK, now you should ban him, that's just offensive.
  4. I don't think I can ever see him as " your common man" or an "eagle of American freedom" but I can definitely see him as a Mc Double and the board is certainly less entertaining without him. My vote is for free speech within the limits of decency and this seems like overly harsh punishment, give him his freedom to post.
  5. Thank you I have some great memories from my time in PA and this brings back several of them.
  6. Winner! It is the Lick observatory on Hamilton. 4000 feet up from the valley floor, beautiful ride.
  7. Awesome weekend bike ride here in CA, anyone guess the "highpoint" of the ride
  8. it's a tough life sometimes.....
  9. Most north lake areas got up to 3 feet, Squaw is open (1 lift) today for a $20 ticket. More storms next week, looks good for a thanksgiving opening.
  10. More or less, yes. A little further south if you are being very specific.
  11. it's never 100 degrees in SF, the bay keeps it 20 degrees cooler than we see in the "south bay" area.
  12. 100+ degrees here today Some leaves are turning yellow & brown though so I guess it's fall. 8 weeks to thanksgiving skiing and riding.....
