10% discount on food for one day? honestly, that just makes BC look stingy, you are better off giving no discount IMO.. Jordan

up until jesse started doing the park at BB in the middle of last season, their jumps sucked as well. They were built like motocross jumps, the landings were flat as can be.

fireworks stores are the bomb I bought $400 worth last 4th and I plan on doubling that this year, and buying wholesale in Ohio. Jordan

a lift ticket is just that... a lift ticket. They have no right to check for one unless you are getting on the lift. What if a parent brings their kid to the mountain to go skiing, and they don't ski. Do they have to leave the premesis immediately or buy a lift ticket? Are they not allowed to chill in the lodge or walk around outside while their kid is skiing? Jordan

any thread about ski/snow blades will turn into this on PASR

Peak Resorsts (what should we expect)
jordan replied to motionus's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
one thing is for sure, Blue Ridge doesent want JFBB back, they don't want to be bothered running ski areas. The only reason they didnt flat out sell it is because they want to make sure the ski areas stay open to increase property values, because their real business is selling real estate. That said, Peak might opt out of the deal after 5 years now that they own a real deal ski area (mount snow) -

Blue ridge retains ownership of JFBB. It is my understanding that peak has JFBB on a lease. -

a deal to sell kmart to powdr corporation is in the works according to this article: http://www.firsttracksonline.com/index.php...le&sid=1553 -
if they are full, they are full, but that doesent excuse the abusive behavior of the parking attendant. I think you should call up BC and give them a description of the individual so they can take corrective action.

looks like ASC is trying to liquidate its ski areas and get the fuck out of the business.. they just sold steamboat as well Also, now that they own some real deal ski areas, how much more money do you think they are going to put into JFBB? my guess is: not a lot

i already had that test I should be doing some calc homework though

I see they aren't listening to their customers and are continuing the retarted lift ticket every time you go thing. Thats the spirit PEAK Don't invest in ticket scanners or anything, keep inconveniencing your most loyal customers to solve your security problem. By the way, it doesent work when you STILL dont have people checking tickets at the lifts.. that is all Jordan

yes because accuweather's automatic 15 day forecasts that just spit out whatever the GFS says are so accurate

actually, they just took a backhoe, dug out all the dirt, and eliminated those parts of the mountain.. Jordan

JFBB lodging? Anything available. Anyone want to share?
jordan replied to TT C6's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
Just stay at the blakeslee inn or something, snow ridge village condo rates this weekend will be through the roof, and really there is no reason for that crap anyway. Jordan -
You can ski anywhere there is snow at JFM as long as it isnt specifically marked "closed" and the only time they will do that is if there isnt enough snow to ski it... Jordan

jfbb went from being managed by a company who didnt give a rats ass about the bottom line at the ski areas as long as they werent in the red to a company where all they do is run ski areas... what do you expect?
