Went to Breckenridge today... sweet mountain.... 1st time i have been there. It got a little crowded, but i only waited in line 5-10 minutes tops because they had 2 high speed quads and a siz pack open heres some pics.. enjoy

Hopefully its the right choice... I am really an impulsive buyer I've wanted a pair of twin tips for a while now, and i need a pair of pow skis for out here, so i figure this is the best choice... I will NOT center mount though, as I am definately no park rat Kickass proform from the ski and snowboard club here at CU, $380 for the skis and $108 for the scratch 120 bindings (I dont need a 14 din right?)
-
they should do people who want to get into the sport a favor and sell them for $25 or so... $125 cant be much less than CB paid for them... Remember, these skis are made to be rentals.. Rental skis arent made up to par with skis meant to be sold to the public. Jordan

I was just looking into the BS's they seem pretty practical for me, as i want powder skis, but I have always wanted a pair of twin tips for quite some time.. I can get the Scratch BC's for $380 ($729 retail) through the proform, plus $159 ($339 retail) for the scratch 140 wide break bindings (up to 14 din) or $108 ($259 retail) for the Scratch 120 Wide break bindings with up to 12 din... So that would run me around $500-$550 for the whole set up... not bad Jordan

i hate when people use "legit" in this way... Just a pet peeve of mine Jordan legit [luh-jit] Informal.
-
anyone know anything about the BSquads? I can get a pair brand new through a proform for $506 (they retail for $959) Jordan
-
Love em? hate em? Im looking to get some phat skis for powder, and i can get a good deal on some lightly used Rossi B4s, which are the same skis as the old B3's I have a pair of B2s now in case you were wondering Jordan

how you gonna close on a saturday, BLUE?

the Jack Frost race program taught me how to ski, i quit when they moved it to big boulder a while back (yes i know its back at Jack Frost now) hell if i know, i was pretty good back in the day though. I do have a bunch of gold medals from when i raced.. Anyway, if you guys are interested, my challenge stands. Jordan

its a rediculous statement to say that EC skiers are better than WC skiers when there is nothing on the EC that is even semi-comparable to some of the terrain out here. Especially in PA. You can only get so good skiing in PA. there is a ceiling that you can hit, where you can cease to get any better skiing on the limited terrain found in PA. Please dont argue this fact, because its true and you know it.. Jordan

well your statement really had no place in this thread then, unless you were trying to imply that I was slow, which is how i took your statement. If that is not how you meant it, then i apoligize, but it seems like you were trying to imply that I suck... Jordan

You called me out when I said it was tough for me to keep up with the TGR guys, so if I prove that i can ski faster than you, then that means you wouldnt have been able to keep up with the TGR guys who happen to be west coast skiers, thus disporving your origional statement...
-
nope, but i used to race
-
one condition, you need to put the race results in a sticky in the main forum
-
don't care, ill crush you all either way, so you choose...
-
you're on... Just tell me where and when... (must be between december 23rd ish and jan 16th ish) Jordan
-
i think you guys need to ski with some of the people from TGR and get back to me...
-
find some statistics to prove your statement, and ill agree with you, but i find that hard to believe.. Maybe EC skiers handle better on ice, because the EC has it and the WC doesent, but everything else, I am almost certain that WC skiers are generally better at, because they have far more (and more difficult) terrain to practice on and have far longer seasons... Jordan
-
dont give me that shit... I could keep up fine on the groomers, but on the moguls, they blow me away, as they would any EC skier
-
I went up with someone from TGR, and we met a shitload of maggots at loveland. Those guys are hard as hell to keep up with for an EC skier like myself, let me tell you The open terrain at loveland kicks the crap out of A-Basin's, they even had a few bump runs open, and there was some tree skiing to be had as well.. The conditions were amazing considering they didnt get any measurable snow in over a week. And, no, no "mad steezy air or wicked jibs" for me just yet. Its still to early in the season, and I dont want to go hurting myself just yet. I tent to save any really risky behavior for the spring...

fuck, if i was from the city, and i brought my family to ski at CB (unlikely), I would just stay at great wolf, so much better than CB's hotel will be..
-
we actually have 2 extra beds in my dorm room, if you want to crash here for a couple of days, you are welcome to... Jordan

A-Basin yesterday, 30-45min waits, 7 trails open Loveland today, I did not stand in a lift line for longer than one minute tops, and they had 20 trails open $40 very well spent think im gonna buy a 4 pack or 2 for $100 each and ski there for the rest of the pre-season until all the colorado resorts are open and the lines at the popular ones die down somewhat...
