  1. High speed 700' vert lift seems a bit short for a bubble.
  2. Considering spending a night at one of the "Deluxe Glamping" sites this summer with Joy between a Saturday hiking Rickett's Glen and a Sunday rafting the Lehigh Gorge Anyone ever give that a try? Thoughts on the different sites? From the map the Upper Lazy Lookout site seems like it would offer both more seclusion and better views. Anyone done this before? Thoughts?
  3. Wound up doing same as last year. Epic pass just for me and Indy Pass for all 3 of us. Ordered Epic today to get the 10 Buddy ticket deals - which I may use for kids IndyPass cost for kids last year came out under $9 per ski day.
  4. Huevos Rancheros is my SW Breakfast fav, but more likely to have it for lunch or dinner to get an early start on a ski vaca.
  5. Will enjoy the nice Mexican and southwestern cuisine in CO
  6. Had to give up red meat. Thanks Mr Cardiologist.
  7. Not bringing Joy. My needs are modest.
  8. Hertz
  9. Yep
  10. Hoping to find some good glades but understand conditions may not cooperate this year.
  11. "Luxury Inn & Suites" $100/nt with hot tub and breakfast $185 car rental Using miles.and voucher for Free direct Frontier flights including checked skis and boots and carry on. Epic pass for lift tix Steal
  12. Tips for skiing Breck? Will likely be there one of more days Sat-Mon.
  13. Flying Philly to DIA tomorrow eve, redeye back Mon night. Staying in Silverthorne and will ski some combo of Breck, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Any idea where conditions are best at present?
  14. Did book CO trip - plan to hit Keystone & Breck for 3 days April 9, 10, 11 Hunter tomorrow is questionable as they seem to be down to 3 runs off top now, and it will be frozen solid till 11 or so. Will make the call when I wake and see report as no rush to get there early. Still hope for Snow/Okemo Mon & Tues Shame Blue couldn't at least pull off an April Fools fake re-opening announcement
  15. Once made it to the Edgewater Inn in Seattle but did not catch a mudshark
  16. Not over til it's over. Glad to have my Joy back after a little rough patch
  17. Ski2Live considering Sat Hunter, Mon Snow, Tue Okemo Also considering CO 4/9-12
  18. If they offered $399 for me and $99 for each daughter like they did when I got our passes I would seriously consider getting it in addition to our Indy passes.
  19. Cause I concluded after having a Blue pass the winter of 2018-19 that I would rather ski anywhere but Blue (except Mountain Creek) on weekends from mid December through late February
  20. With the lines some weekend days one might be able to make it a profitable venture even with lifts running. Even someone with a pass might take a $5 ride over an hour wait
  21. Yeah - shame they called it quits. Next weekend could've had better conditions than this one with some effort. With Blue's lay out someone could make a decent wage offering $5/person rides from lower lot to top lot. Not many other places that would be possible. Belleayre I guess but you could only access green trails that way.
  22. Shawnee just announced today is their last day. Only Blue, Cbk, JFBB still holding out hope for this weekend in PA.
  23. Sure it was a very reasonable price for a lift ticket with no lines, nice weather, and better conditions that could be expected in light of recent PA weather. I'm sure it was cheaper for me than driving to Hunter to ski free and definitely much more satisfying than going back to JF without East Mt open. Glad I went.
  24. I'm sure I saw more than 9 other people there
  25. Looks like Blue and CBK both jumped the gun on closing today with no rain now forecast til evening.
