Even my 11 year olds miss it and ask when we can go back to Frost and do some trees now that we have Blue passes. They will be glad once Blue Baumer opens at least. Nice to see they were blowing snow in there.

I agree that the only thing Frost has on Blue is Glades. I wish Blue would try to equal them in that area as well. OK Frost also has the River Shot view, but I dont expect Blue to reroute the Lehigh for me.

Does Frost get that much more snow that they can pull it off? Or do they just make snow in glades (as Blue does too)

I didn't duck a rope so I'm not sure how it was different. There was a skiable passage from Challenge to Sidewinder with no rope.

Do rules allow skiing those off the map glades?

In general, I am ok with folks breaking rules as long as they only put themselves at risk. And I oppose any laws that only protect people from themselves. False advertising harms others.

If I sought to sue someone for injuring myself on closed terrain you would have a point. Pretty sure drinking beers in the lot is against the rules too

Disappointed in general about how few glades Blue has. Their biggest weakness. Wish they could be more like Frost in that regard.

It was post grill that everyone was on it. It was so crowded that, seeing it from the lift, I figured they might have opened it - though it would be odd to have done so with whales in place.

So many folks on it the risk seemed minimal.

I was one of hundreds who poached it yesterday, but it was all crusty and not worth doing twice

Sunday March 24 should be a PASR Plattekill day as there are free lift tix for anyone with a season pass from another Mt. And as there is never a crowd and it is the best skiing you can reasonably day trip to from PA or NJ

Doubt I will do Blue again next season. May take a year off from passes and do the PS&R cards then get a pass late season for the following year. If I can find a deal on a Peak Pass that will be tempting and would likely make Hunter my go to place with occasional trips to Frost or Snow.

Lots of family in town for Dad's 80th Birthday Celebration. So finding time to ski is tricky.

If that weather forecast hold will skip Sunday. But Sat may well be impossible for family reasons.

Hope to do Sunday, waiting to see what the weather holds - and if other factors change that would make Sat possible.
