Yeah, and I saw them, but I was skiing sOlo today.

Pretty sure I'm heading there tomorrow after a fun day at Blue today. The skison isn't getting any longer and I gotta work Monday

Kids decided to save their memories of Winter Park as perhaps their last day of the skison rather than hitting Frost. Next day they could potentially ski is 4/14 and who knows what will be left

On the Snow app. Less positive now but still has Snow 1 to 5 AM before changing to a mix. And no precipitation during skiing hours

Looks like the place to go tomorrow with Blue closed. Chance of snow tonight.

Forecast for JF looks decent. Calling for some snow tonight.

Guess if I'm going anywhere it's Frost. Wonder why they closed.

Got about an inch fresh today, so AM conditions were a bit better today, but PM was better yesterday. Girls made it up to the 12k peak for one run, but altitude quickly caused one a headache, so it was a one time excursion. Did snap some pix up top though. That was part of a 3 hour complimentary mountain tour by a wonderful guide who took us all over the different regions of the area, helped them lear to use a rope tow, waited when they were slow or needed equipment adjustments, and even refused the tip I tried to give him. One of our glade runs is also pictured below, through Tweedledum glades. Not a single spill for either of them, as they handled moguls, glades and runs up to the "blue/black" level. Awesome 2 days for my amazing 10 year old ski bunnies. When I graduated college there is no way I could have pulled off what they did today. Overall our favorite area was Vasquez Ridge where we did 8 of our 23 runs over two days. Thanks so much to Barb for the vouchers!

On track to set my record with 30 days or more. 25 so far, and 2 days in Maine booked for April 21 and 22. This place is a great enabler for us addicts.

How are conditions? May hit it on Wed. Flying home tomorrow.

Yep that's how it looks now. Yesterday AM they were calling it for it to happen last night. Oh well. Still psyched as we are getting ready for another awesome day of skiing. At least we got the 16" of freshness at BC thursday. Daughter had some altitude sickness 3 am last night but felt better after some crushed Advil mixed in hot cocoa. Glad we are staying somewhere with housekeeping service.

We are all having an awesome time. I can't believe the level of skiers they have proved themselves to be today.

Supposed to get a fresh 4 to 8 inches tonight. Off to the hot tub.

11 awesome runs with the girls tackling trees and moguls. Check out the Cabriolet from our hotel to the base and our lunch break at the peak :-)

Took the kind of flights that got 3 free roundtrips with miles. Return is direct.

Took the Home James shuttle to the Vintage Inn. Rode the Cabriolet to the resort (like being in Mountain Creek but without the drive and with a plane ride instead). Now eating at the Back Bowl before picking up our rental gear at Christy's. Plan to hit the outdoor hot tub then call it an early night on account of about 3 hours total sleep including on plane.

Discovered a benefit of wearing ski helmet on plane as wearing it it works as a pretty good pillow when leaning your head on side of plane to catch some Zs. Breakfasting in Florida airport because how else would you fly from PA to CO? For those who wanted pix

So someone can give me crap for not taking pix while I ski?

Empty in the AM got crowded on the front lift by 1, but the lift by the better stuff stayed pretty free. Left at 2.

Enjoying BC. They say they got 16 and I believe them. All the blacks and some blues ungroomed, and it is deep in trees.

Heading out to ski with girls today. Most likely Blue though if they want to try someplace new to them we may head for BC which could be nice with some of the new snow likely staying untracked longer. Gonna excavate car now then wake em up and make the call.

Don't want to risk the drive home today. May well be there tomorrow.

I have never looked at weekday not holiday rates. Weekends are high enough thst I never considered it.
