Yep this will be my last year on Epic. Ikon for 24-25. Will be nice to hit CBk and Blue again occasionally instead of JF and RT

I believe they make a little fresh snow every night to keep the surface predictably just how they want it. Doesn't take all that much $ as it is always kept at proper temperature and humidity and they have the equip built in. Basically just flip a swich.

They are now seeding moguls last weekend of every month

Yeah they were not checking our pass at all when we were there but no way we were gonna keep it up over 2 hrs. For park rats, learners, or a few runs for novelty on a hot day.

(No weekend days waiting in mega lift lines at Blue = priceless)

Great idea - think I will plan to be at Stowe for it. We caught the last one at Isle of Palms Beach in SC, the first place it was visible in the US.

Nice to see you guys on your way home. Nice thing about the Crown Vic - skis fit in the trunk cross-wise. Got 23 mpg for the trip. Not too shabby for something that size. Went "off pass" this weekend at Plattekill and Belleayre, spent the night at Twilight Lodge (in Tannersville as decision to hit Belleayre instead of Hunter on Sun was made after I booked room - based on reports of not great conditions at Hunter on Sat). Still got nice deals - $25 at Platte and $48 at Belle. Next up will be Breck April 15-17 making for at least a 35 day Skison

Think I have two more weekends of skiing. This one and likely Breck the next one.

If purchased in advance by Friday. Think I will do this deal instead of BEast

The only skiing board where useful lift ticket deal and resort opening information is less welcome than updates on proposed Lehigh Valley tailgating menus

B.East doing a bonus day Sat from 10-5 with $20 lift tix. It will likely soften up that day while VT places will stay hard (but soften Sunday) - so could help round out a nice weekend road trip.

Looking at weather trends I think best bet for our Indy tour will be Sat PM Catamount - should be clear by 1-2 Sun PM BEast - should thaw in afternoon Mon Cannon - all day Tue Waterville - unless I feel like I'd rather do a 2nd Cannon day

Try to keep up. I'm defining places thst suck as places that threw in the towel on the season by March 26. Do I need to carve it into a tombstone for you to understand?

Changed 8 to 4 after being quoted as JFrost still plans to open again as far as I know

And what's worse I spent 4 days this year skiing PA areas that suck compared to Montage.

Racing and other competitive forms of skiing are a sport. I certainly don't participate in a sport when I ski any more than I do when I take a walk or have a meal, even though there are also walking and eating competitions.

Sport? Outdoor recreation.
