I don't have a Foosball table so I don't need any delicate clothes to dry on it -
Was dissuaded by the forecasts from going out skiing today. Will be skiing tomorrow AM. Probably Blue but leaving final call up to my buddy who is driving. Supposed to pick me up at 6 for wherever we go. Blue conditions likely to have survived well I guess?

Foosball tables make pretty good laundry drying racks for delicates. Convenient that they are usually in a basement as are washers. -
Yeah even tomorrow AM is starting to look less promising. Wonder what will be left Sunday and if it will ice up overnight.

Can always pay a longer mortgage off faster to save interest. I am paying no more per month to own a house than I was to rent a house half the size a mile away, so owning is a steal even if a good chunk of that is interest, taxes, insurance. -

The boarders are probably mastering downhill surfing today -
Yes if the forecast looks this good when I go to bed, I will be setting alarm for 530 with an eye to early AM at Blue (unless I have someone going with me who prefers a different ski destination for tomorrow) May also get out somewhere Sunday. Not a time to procrastinate about skiing.

Weather Channel has 15 to 25% chance of rain hourly through noon tomorrow, then up to 60% at 1pm
-
Sat AM looks possible. Rain now called for 1.

2017 Closing Weekend Party - March 18th

Should be a good March for driving further north -
Thanks to shadows for the ticket hook up. Enjoyed 19 line free runs of the nice Spring conditions. Pleasantly surprised that glades.remained skiable and bumps soft. A teeny sprinkle in the AM but turned into a beautiful day.

Wow, I guess the warm weather sent everyone golfing. Pretty big crowd at Shawnee yesterday, though lines stayed under 5 minutes. -

Awesome. Taking the day off for some turns tomorrow. -
Wondering if anyone has insight into how crowded Blue is midweek this week. Is it crowded today? I see snow tubing is sold out, which has me concerned. Thinking about taking tomorrow off to ski from about 930 to 2, but not if it will be packed.

New "No Outside Food" in the lodges policy
Ski2Live Live2Ski replied to enjoralas's topic in Blue Mountain
If I am skiing with the kids I always spring for a hot cocoa for them to split while eating the lunch we brought. Support the local economy and all. -
Kids best ski day yet in spring conditions. Got 15 runs in, including doing each Black Diamond at least twice. No falls at all.

Heading back here with the kids for ex-President's day

New "No Outside Food" in the lodges policy

Almost never buy food at a ski lodge. But almost never eat the food I bring inside the lodge either. Usually just have snacks in my pockets I eat on the lift. -

With the weather forecast for the next week this seems quite optimistic.
