It's funny that 'easy out' is a trail unto itself. Basically the unloading ramp to the lift. Be awesome if the open this weekend...

It's called Bucks County Shops and has a sign on it that says Pool and Ski.... I never knew it existed and I work about 15 minutes from there. Very strange place. Stopped by yesterday and they had the back of the shop set up with Halloween stuff. So it seems to be a pool supply, ski equipment and rental, and halloween costume store.....

That's a clever idea. Lock in the families to your mountain.... We've always rented locally for our kids and still do for our youngest. It's similar price - $140 a season i think. But they give you a killer coupon book with it - typically has a free child's ticket with purchase of adult full price ticket for every mountain in the Pokes and catskills - but just one coupon per mountain. So, use three coupons and the rentals are paid for.

Link says 'Yoga with a View'. You guys should do that too. Yoga really helps with skiing.

Yeah, a hotel seems like a better idea. Have a hard time imagining people buying a condo at Blue Mountain. At least up in the Poconos proper, you have more of a feeling of being in the woods or mountains....and you might use the place year 'round. Blue doesn't have that feeling to me - maybe I'm wrong. A hotel with a waterpark seems like the winning combo for smaller mountains. Camelback seems to do well. Greek peak did this as well. Bear Creek...(they don't have a waterpark, do they?)

Dang.....looks like there a quite a bit of snowpack there even after the rain. Pretty incredible really. 10% chance I break my 'no Blue' season with my youngest tomorrow to watch the pond skimming.

Decades ago, I flew to Myrtle Beach with a bunch of friends on Myrtle Beach Jet Express. The airline couldn't afford a regular gate, so we boarded on the tarmac in PHL. As you looked down the exterior of the fuselage as you boarded, you could see they had painted "Myrtle Beach Jet Express" over a poorly removed "Peoples Express" logo.... Plane was circus seating. And they let us take a cooler of beer on board. (This was a 9am flight BTW.) Only rule was, the cooler had to be buckled in to an empty seat for takeoff and landing. Times have changed....

Moral of this thread: People get grumpy when ski season ends.
