bear should take all the snow fromt the mtn and put it at the very bottom and then place a couple rails and boxes for hiking. this way they can see where everyone is plus the we dont have to hike as far. this would def keep me as a season pass holder very happy

did u hit it? cuz if u didnt and u never even saw it u cant talk. ur from blue the place that sucks at setting stuff up so u can talk at all. and by the way the staircase was set u nice everytime it was open.

yeh unfortunatly the only people going are season pass holders so bear isnt making any money to be able to make a profit. i mean when u think about it this season wasnt the worst season, bears park was def the best it ever was!

added a new jump inbetween the huge like 75 footer and the 25 footer. the new one is prob like 50 i would say. pretty nice. park was decent with the weather. too bad there closing tomorrow

yeh def the business part cuz i just got back and there is still pretty much snow on the mountain. it just sucks cuz im not ready for this season to be over. i hope they will at least push some snow to keep the season pass holders happy. once again were closing before blue even though we could stay open longer

i just got back from bear about 2 hours ago and you would be surprised how much snow they still have on the mtn. yeh there going to have to start closing some of the trails on the other side of the mtn but the left side is still pretty covered except tubing. i think that they will be able to last until at least next weekend

i def like the idea of the waiver thing. if they would push all the snow to just a couple trails and put rails on them or even some jumps that would be sick. i mean if bear really didnt want to pay for anything they could even close it down before dark so they wouldnt have to pay for lights! i mean when u think about it there is really no way they can loose money from this idea. no lift, no lights, no park crew=no money spent and season pass holders very very happy!

and prob 2 or 3 outa those 5 people either suck at park or barely ride park haha but the www is def my favorite board that i have ridden so far

yeh everyone has one and im sure that most people when they see me ride thought gee he copied everyone else. well yeh some kids do but i didnt. i mean im pretty much all for park except those nice pow days like on sat but the board to me is just so nice. its flexy rides smooth and i can have so many stance options. i dont really care either cuz ill show up half the kids with the board anyways hah

would u rather be able to go from 4 to 730 or not at all? i would rather go then not at all. think about how much that would save them not having to pay for the lights. even so they could leave them on but it was just a suggestion

wut about moving the snow to like 2 trails for the park and running only the quad or double lift and not opperating at night so u dont have to pay for the lights?

got back out 8. park was as usual but things werent great since it was almost 70 today. tubing has so much mud in front of the new chanel gap. otherwise its good for it being70 today. hope they can blow soon. word on the streets is they are going to be blowing anytime they can to try and stay open until april 1st i hope they can do that

everyone needs to stop bitching about the short season. bear creek did everything possible to be be open and they made snow as often as possible. also if u have bought a season pass, u must go up to bear often. prob 99.9 percent of u have paid off your pass but yet u still continue to complain. at least bear is doing something like this 65 day season thing and this whole day for use. i dont see any other mtn giving season pass holders the availbility to get a free pass for someone or having a rail jam and all that stuff. so just take it or leave it. where bear creek is located its a little warmer than blue, so u either take it or u can go to blue doesnt bother me or prob anyone elce here

i think its actually a good idea since bear wasnt able to be open on new years and yes can i have some fries

who cars about getting any money back, i still used my pass plenty of times, and im sure most of you on here go often, so im sure most of you have paid off your passes. i mean for an off peak u only had to go about 6 times and and unlimited you only had to go about 12. so subtract 12 from 65 and thats wut 53 other days? im not trying to say anything about a short season cuz i would love to see bear be open way longer than that, but the part about paying off ur passes im sure most of you have.

before everybody starts complaing about everything, lets find out when bear opened in dec and then closed and then opened again, so we can really know how many days bears been open. once we know, then we can all start complaing again, me included

yeh it does, thanks andy. i was jw because i would really like to be on park crew soon and since i noticed a 17 year old i thought that maybe i had a chance for next year. i could def prove it too you, ive been building things around my house for ever, just give me a rake and a feature and ill fix it right up haha

i thought u had to be 18 to be on park crew? but obvously you dont since there are people on under 16. doesnt bother me at all cuz they do a great job, but how do you end up getting selected to be on park crew? anyone know

the fence is great, you no longer have to worry about getting cut off from either trail. its not that difficult, either take cascade or black bear u dont have to ride both, plus cascade has good flow all the way through so i dont see why anyone would even want to just cut through

yeh i know about the whole scanning passes thing and for the 10th time im not complaining that he scanned my pass. i just thought it could have waited until i was in the lift line like they have been doing for 5 years!
