w/e its not a big deal i just thought that they should just scan in the lift lines no just walking around scanning who ever

i dont mind getting scanned in the lift line, and i understand thats their job. i just didnt really appreciate getting scanned just standing and talking to my friends at the bottome, not even in the lift line. i mean wut does it matter, if i have a bad lift ticket there going to catch me in the lift line so y not just scan their? plus then they know who they have scanned and who they havent, luckily i wasnt scaned again in the lift line.

Anyone know why the employees at bear have been scanning so many passes? i dont mind being scanned when im in line but last night i was standing inbetween the quad and double lifts talking to my friends. we were trying to decide what we were going to do when all of a sudden this guy from bear walks up to use and asks us to scan our passes! wtf i have been riding at bear for 5 years now and have been scanned 100s of times, but never when i wasnt in a lift line! i think that now they are getting like a bonus for finding people there with a bad pass or something like that. but still to me thats not right to scann a pass when i wasnt even in a lift line, i was just standing there talking to my friends!

every box i build i use abs plastic and it slides great! i dont use any coping either, its rare that you catch ur edge, you basicly have to try and catch it

this park set up should be the best ever!! but please dont put every rail and box on a mound of snow again like last time in cascade, but other than that park crew keep up the good work!!

im def a true snowboarder i mean in my backyard i have two flat boxes a flat down stair case a tree bonk and barral bonk and jumps. i would def hike the mtn but the problem with just letting people hike is that then if someone gets hurt they could be liable, plus their not going to keep ski patrol during that time, so i would highly doupt that they would do that. thats wut ice rinks and wakeboarding are for in the summer!

idk how the rainbow was set up today but yesterday was terrible. it was set up so you would have to gap to like the down of the rainbow part. i mean thas all fun and stuff but i would much rather see the jump be the same pitch as the rainbow and go right up to it with a little gap. thats def alot more fun to session, otherwise everything was set up really nice as usual. one suggestion i have would be to take the big flat down and move it more towards the tubing side so that you could come onto it straight but also that that you can just go straight and just hit the first jump. i just think it would be nicer if you didnt have to turn to get onto it espicialy when your gapping the flat. otherwise the park is sick!

this topic needs to stop right here! bob if u dont like it dont come back i dont care and neither does anyone elce on this forum care if u come or not! its better if u dont cuz then its less crowed and we dont have to put up with assholes like you! also tubing has nothing to do with the whole other mountain, bear creek does a great job keeping up their parks and snow coverage on the trails! the snow is almost never icy like it usually always is at blue mtn.

so lets just say that its around at 50 footer than? it doesnt really matter since we dont have to go around bragging out how big are jumps are like some mtns haha

yeh same last night had to be the best night snowboarding this whole season! conditions were the best ever, fresh snow almost the whole night and not even a 5 min wait for the lift! im going up tomorrow night, do you guys think its going to be crowed or not because of the super bowl?

I dont want to be a dick but no ride on boxes in cascade!! if ur just learning theres this trail called the family park which is for beginers, thats where you should be, not in the expet park. thats why its so crowed. when you can do those boxes then move up to the intermediate park, and then the expert park. dont kid yourself everyone has to start somewhere and it should be in the expert park, another reason why cascade should somehow be closed off to the regular public or atleast have signs that say expert only.

well i heard that they are going to take out the boarder cross course either tonight or tomorrow, so im guessing that means they will push all that snow into jumps and all that other good stuff! but i mean i cant wait until they set up the family park and black bear cuz then cascade wont be as crowed. i know that there just trying to get snow in the parks but please bc set some more stuff up as soon as u can! and get all the noobs outa cascade please!

the reason the pipe looks small is because when they do actually cut it they blow all the snow that they cut out onto the top, which usually adds a good 2 or 3 feet

do you guys think its going to be like nice mellow flat box combinations or something like the down flat down, which i doupt cuz if its in a parking lot u kinda need a hill so im thinking just flat boxes, but wuts other peoples opinion.

theres one really big problem with adding on the back of the mountain. the damn sun. that snow would melt proboly 5 times faster than on the other side. i think thats a big reason why they havent expanded even though i think they do own it. i mean who cares about expanding, i liked bear the old way(not jib wise cuz that got way better) but i mean seriously i would take that old lodge over the crowds now. its good bears making money but it kinda sucks cuz it does get pretty crowded sometimes now.
