i think everyone wants bear to make snow and so do i but wuts the point of firing up the guns for one night, then not being able to fire them up again for a couple days and so on. i mean i want bear to open really bad, but it just doesnt make any sense, it just seems like a huge waste of money

well im bring this back since bear has to basicly start all over again, which really sucks! but the good news is according to accuweather starting tomorrow night there will be snowmaking temps all the way until friday including friday! and then starting again sunday until jan 8(which is the last day perdicted) so i think bear might have a chance of opening by friday or sat! at least im hoping! pray for some snow and cold

i say everyone with a truck gets a whole truck load of snow from the ice rinks! we would def have enough, we could do it at the bottom of the mtn where they usually teach kids, if bears cool with that, and make it for season pass holders only! all we would need would be one nice mellow flat box! p.s we could go steal snow from blue haha but i just thought of something, its supposed to be pretty cold on wed. night and thurs. night, so bear could put a couple guns at the bottom and im sure they could make enough for a rail jam in two nights. wut does everyone elce think, cuz then we could do it on friday and we wouldnt have to get anysnow

I think a good idea would be to stop fucking complaining about bear not making snow and not being open! so stop posting stupied things complaining. Bear is doing the best they can, they made snow the last two nights and stayed open as long as the could. bear is warmer than almost all the other mtns so thats obviously why they dont make as much snow and cant be making snow when other places are! so lets all stop being gay and and stop complaining

yeh they blew snow last night on the top of the mtn? its hard for me to believe that its that much of a temp from the top to the bottom, but unfortunatly as much as i love bear its a ver slim chance that they will open by christmas. i mean look at the mountain, it looks like spring time at the end of the season. it just really really sucks but its all good cuz if they dont open im getting snow myself and having a rail jam at my house ha

i m going no matter wut tomorrow! ill proboly ride my other board though since conditions arent looking so good. but anyways, i think bear will do something with the snow issue, and i dont think it will be too bad on the open trails. i also know that park crew wouldnt let use down, even with this shitty weather, they'll still make a better opening day park then blue had! ha

yeh i noticed that too. it all depends on how much snow bear can lay down tonight tomorrow and tomorrow night saturday night and maybe sunday night. i dont really understand why they are blowing in the pipe and tubing? but i know bear knows what there doing so... all i say is i hope they open on tuesday, but sunday would be better!

i think bear will start tomorrow night. i think they want it to get cool and let the ground get a little colder first, since i mean it was like 72 freaking degrees yesterday. but yeh i think bear should open this weekend some time.

For sale is a Jeenyus Kevin Jones 156 snowboard. I bought it last season and used it for about a month. Reason is because i broke my collar bone and also one of the sliders broke on it. Now the reason the slider broke was because i only two bolted the back binding. When you four bolt it the bindings dont move at all. I have extra sliders that i got from jeenyus. The board itself is if really good condition. Retail is 440. Let me know if your interested and we can come up with a price.

it looks to me that there isnt any stairs going up? obvousily there just going to build snow up to it, but i think it would have been nicer to have the full stair going up and down. dont get me wrong, the staircase is sick

yeh it would be sick if it were for anyone but last year it was the park crew place. they would keep all the tools there and that kinda stuff.

ok you are doing the same exact thing that i did when i built my first box. It was eight feet long and i used plexi glass and aluminum angle iron. Lets just say that it worked, but after the first season i got all new stuff. the aluminum works but u can catch your edge. if you have the money go out and buy ABS plastic. It works just like the mtn boxes and slides super nice. you dont need any angle iron then too. right now i have two 8ft boxes with abs plastic and im loving it. the problem is that your going to be spending about 50 bucks for the plastic. heres the web site. i would suggest getting .25 and no thiner. the reason is so that you can counter sink your screws
