Bear will open Friday, there is no reason to open any earlier especially with the weather this week and how they can just keep on blowing. Im an employee and have not received an email, if they were opening tomorrow i would have found out by now. Not to mention they will not get the crowed they would if they open tomorrow compared to friday. Friday is still pretty good to open the same time as blue hah

yeh there is a feature somewhat like that in the movie double decade but its two jumps instead...prob one of my favorite features ive ever seen

why not just close down cascade for a day or so and blow the shit out of it? Get some good jumps and snow in there...why all the aggravation of blowing every night having to dig out the rails and still not having the amounts needed for the jumps that will eventually go in there. same for black bear...close it for a day during the week and make tons of snow...no body is gonna miss it that much for a day when you will only be benefiting from it

gotta give you props tom for a great park so far this season! Opening day was a sick set up for it being opening day hah first time i think ive seen a jump on opening day! Keep up the the good work!

yeh such a bummer...i was there today and they actually have a TON of snow...but it does make sense to leave it in the piles to wait out the rain...

i dont see why we shouldnt be able to open on monday...two days of a little warm is not gonna mess up everything especially with the cold spell coming after those two days...it seems like there is a bunch of snow already on the ground along with the rest of today and tonight

they wont open friday night...not a chance...there going to blow all day today and tonight and prob push tomorrow and then blow tomorrow night and open sunday...thats my guess

yeh dont get your hopes up for this weekend because its not gonna happen. They should be able to get some good snowmaking in though so we should def see opening sometime next week!

the last jump in tubing was perfect everyday...you just had to figure out where to start from so you had the speed...same with everyone...just had to figure out how to get the speed and you were golden

i would like to see the smurf rail the way it is except on a hill so its even more of a down...bear mtn has one that is set up like that and it looks super fun

yeh yesterday was slow until about 7 at night then you were able to get the whole jump line is cascade...but the jumps werent bad you just had to figure out your speed they were actually really nice...park overall was pretty nice
