anyone park crue member on here wear redish pants that kinda look somewhat camo or close to it with a white helmet?

i was up yesterday, coverage wasnt really bad at all, just spring conditions

today i saw the funniest thing, a mother and her two children. they thought it was so fun to ride up the dc stair and down the stairs haha mother"ok son its your turn" son"no mom you go first this time" haha i just laughed and some other kid yelled at them. then the next run i happen to see them do it again. i think they did it every run. oh yeh i forgot about the family with like this 5 year old who liked riding down the landings of jumps...almost landed on her cuz i couldnt even see her. i get out at 130 every other day now and i thought it was gonna be sick getting up to bear at 2 in the afternoon before the crowd, but i was so wrong, its just like noob land up there. you can take one run down the park without having to wait for the families with there little kids just taking a RUN down the park. somethig needs to be down, someone is gonna get really hurt, unfortunatly thats what it takes in this messed up world, is someone to get hurt, then improvise a new rule. lame

just take the parking attendants that dong do anything and have them stand at the top of the parks and tell the families to stay out

i second gettting rid of the up flat down box and up rail and making that back into a jump. we already have an up flat down box, the stair...also take out the flat down rail that nobody ever hits and make that into a jump too. get a nice jump line going that flows right into the tubing park

are u talking about the 420 box ontop of that mound?? Even so that is slot of lips to try and keep nice

the 420 box is finally low, they moved it to the bottom by the quad and put in a down box in place of the 420 box

they didnt cut the pipe today, while i was there they were just pushing all the snow around into the walls...i think that they are gonna let that set there and cut the pipe later in the week. shit today was good, finally got some double hitters at different lengths! its about time. the only thing is that the 420 box needs a landing, you come on with a little speed and you drop like 8 feet to the landing, that is such a fun box to try stuff on but i and a ton of other people are more nervous because it has such a bad landing. last night someone 180 on to 180 off, didnt get the full rotation off, and fell like 10 feet to the bottom of the landing and had to be taken down by ski patrol. he only had enough speed to get some air to 180 on, thats def saying that its a shitty landing, we have snow, push some more up to it

yeh where the hell is that quarter pipe box thing, that should have been out opening day, you dont need any snow for that

hell no that was so gay...that 420 is a freakin giant butter box that is so good for learning new tricks, which is why it shouldn't be so high and a big drop off.

haha yeh i was a couple lifts behind him, i dont really feel bad for him becuase how stupied do you have to be to jump of the lift, at like the highest point.

yeh i mean why the fuck would you have a quarter pipe drop in???? should have been a roll in and im sure people would have gotten at least a little closer...then why did the box have to be so damn high that you needed a four or five foot ramp on to it...

anyone know what jib they will be using tomorrow night for the second jam at the creek thing?

bears park has a ton of potential...i think that they need to take out the new set up of the big batteship box and the up rail and make that into a nice jump. then add one more after that, that would flow right into the tubing park. add another jump in the tubing park where they was always the first jump, and then maybe make the last one a little smaller so you could hit both. that would be a nice ass jump line...you could have 6 nice jumps in a nice flow. then on the otherside of the trail make it a rail line. you even have room to set up two next to each other kinda like the last two at the bottom by the quad(the red rail and the flow box)...in black bear we need to actaully see some nice jumps like in previous years, a nice set of three jumps with mult lips...thats another thing that i think they should do in cascade and tubing have two lips for one landing, or maybe even three... it will give people more options. we have the snow so thats no excuse. and i agree, that first jump in blackbear was fun for the first like 3 runs, but then it got old, its a quarter pipe, not a jump...and i know thats what they are trying to do because park crue was fixing it when i was there and they made it even steeper than before...why not make that gaint quater pipe at the bottom by the quad like in previous years??? but on the good note i do like the bleacher set up, dc stair, and the anti jump...im not gonna say anything on lips becuase i know it is very hard to maintain when they are able to make all this snow at night, ill take the bad lips and higher lips for a week while they are able to make all this snow...you need to take the good with the bad

i forget the name of what its called, but i was reading in transworld that i believe it was at northstar that burton sponsered this all natural park...tree jibs, cliffs, just anything you could think of.

whats next to the big battleship box set up, is that just an up rail?

i think that it would have been a good idea to take everything out of cascade and blow on it for like two days straight, get tons of snow, then set up a new kick ass park...then when thats open close down black bear and blow tons of snow on that for a day or two and then we would be able to see some jumps in there. cuz right now they have to keep digging out everything everymorning because they are able to make so much snow at night.

are we gonna ever see a jump line like previous years in blackbear???

Why make a new set up this Sunday? Sunday is supposed to be the coldest night and this whole weeks is supposed to be very cold. There just going to burry the features. I personally would wait cuz then u don't have to dig out the current features and two you have a ton more snow to work with.

is this the jump where the down rail used to be or the one after the down flow box?

thats good to hear i wouldnt think andy would put something in the way of another feature
