  2. Yeah I just read it.. doesn't make the pit in my stomach feel any better. I cant stand the thought of getting stuck in the chairs for that long.
  3. What causes the lift to get stuck to long... I wont except noobs at the bottom laying across the chair as an acceptable response
  4. Just to confirm its 35$ and a voucher for lunch...not sure what lunch is but it's free...just got my tickets now
  5. I'm going tomorrow 1/9 hopefully its not ice blue mountain. Hoping they got a lot of coverage with the guns. even suppose to be chance of snow flurries tonight into tomorrow morning. At least all the mountain is open having Burma open will balance the load from paradise.
  6. Customers must bring lift ticket vouchers to any ticket window at Blue Mountain to redeem it for a 6-hour EZslope lift ticket. Cost is 35$ Usually have dogs and burgers down at the valley lodge..its a good deal. http://www.wherevent.com/detail/Blue-Mountain-Ski-Pelican-Customer-Appreciation-Day
  7. How's the snow looking for Tues.. says ~1"
  8. Blue wasn't the only one that got rain I was upstate way upstate temps were mid to upper 40s tons of rain. Big Tupper stayed closed since it was all washed out. Had to go to a mountain in Monroe called Titus.I heard you guys had upper 50's and rain. Hopefully it gets cold this week and stays cold, gets a little old hitting the same trails every weekend. Hope everyone had a good holiday.
  9. Needed to wear chaps for the most of main street... Lot more bumps than last weekend. O saw a lot of yard sales scattered along the trail. I just window shopped...upstate here I come
  10. just got home and checked www cam and there blowing hopefully I get up early or it may be a sunday ride. Suppose to be slight warmer sunday this weekend
  11. app looks very similar...

  13. I'm thinking of going sat before heading upstate. 8 to 1 as usual
  14. Rain and 50 degrees not what I wanted to see...hopefully cold by the end of the week and we can slow down the melt. I'm mellllltttiinggg....
  15. Went to college here in NJ my friend was up there at Paul Smiths which is right in the middle of WF and BT. Were talking many moons ago at this point. I've probably been working longer than I have been out of college. That last storm really helped get the snow totals up in Northern NY and they usually get lake effect snow too over there. I'm hoping to get one more day at blue this weekend before I pack it in and head up.
  16. Thinking one big day at WF with my cousins so I can get some real riding in. Then 2 days at BT wanna get runs in with my family and teach them how to ride and ski there. BT is great, hit that all through college until they closed down, they have been trying to reopen that mountain for over 8 yrs at least. Basically same snow that Lake Placid gets Tupper Lake gets as well. Definitely get pow days up there after a dump and since its way north of Gore Mt (about 70-80min) its not crowded. Also Its a real locals only vibe up there with super cool friendly people. Just like Blue but in the Adirondacks. Ill up photos when I'm there so you can see what your missing
  17. Yeah started a new job over the summer so I have to wait til Jan.to start riding midweek. Hopefully ill get 3 days in while I'm in the Adirondacks over xmas. There is a sweet little local mt that is reopening on the 20th called Big Tupper cant beat it for a 25$ day. Run by volunteer staff and natural snow only and its 5 min from where we stay.
  18. Man wish I didn't have to work all week.. really cramping my style
  19. yeah man widow maker what a fun short little run. Im surprised that I have gotten any days in before I head up to Whiteface next week. There running about 50% open now. Hoping this weekend is good weather needs to hold out so we can a little more coverage on Home Stretch. Going to be signing up my son for riding lessons at Blue wants to hang up the skis already. He is in for a world of pain... Nothing tougher than the first day not like skiing. Good deal too 2hr lessons midweek if I yank him out of school.
  20. Paradise was great on Saturday...Pretty empty too considering it was the first weekend with the valley and six pack running. Guess people are just waiting for more terrain to be open before paying full price lifts.
  21. That's a smarter way.. I bet people weren't even thinking about going inside to eat, which probably lowered the amount of egg and cheese's and burger sales. This give the people the chance to enjoy the day at their leisure. I know that I wasn't looking forward to taking my 5 year old to learn with clock looming over my head. Thank you Blue
  22. I am IN...Cant wait to see how the valley is. Surprised its open this weekend, just shows the dedication that Blue has for its Pass Holders. Creek still has nothing going on my friends going tomorrow just so he can start getting days on his pass. Ill be there for 8.
  23. I like any Midweek morning before the schools get out 1st chair til about 3
  24. Sounds like a decent enough day.. now with the storm coming midweek hopefully now the valley can open. Just checked the cams and the guns are running right now
  25. Awesome that's worth a trip out midweek
