Depends on how soggy the mountain gets... I just checked the cams and there blowing snow in the valley... surprising since it will rain on Sat. Looks like they may have blown on Main Street as well trees have nice white coating on them.

Yeah im thinking none of my friends are gonna go..maybe a solo trip Was really looking forward to the valley opening up...would help getting to the top a lot quicker.

By the end of the rain and warm weather you can go white water rafting down the mountain this weekend. Saturday is going to be another rainy crap day. Wonder how the lines will be if Sunday shapes up to be the only day to go this weekend.

Yeah I'm hoping it will last till then. Im going to Whiteface (Iceface) for Xmas holiday. Hopefully the get snow or it will suck there.

Yeah that first run in November looked like midseason...damn warm weather...colder today but we need another blast so we can get the guns on the valley going. Hope all the snow on Tuts isn't wasting away.

Please redirect site to Shawnee or Camel I allways rode blue and stumbled onto this forum. Allways a fun mountain. Most of my riding was done at Hunter when we had a house up there. But that's a long drive and the lines are pretty long there too and its a totally different vibe.

For Pocono Park blue is the best mountain around. I agree snow making there is great. Second weekend out and they already had decent bumps on Barneys. Staff and people at the mountain are super friendly. Of course were in PA and not in North Jersey Once the valley opens up the lines should die down for a bit. Its still super early in the season. Most avg skiers/riders don't even have the mountain on their radars yet. Creek hasn't even been making snow they really screw their passholders over. My friend was telling me last week they had a hike only park open on South. Blue had a decent park opened day1.

48 bucks for a 8 hr ticket is allright by me... if Im riding solo. If you have kids and want to teach them midweek when blue is empty I would have liked the option for an all day pass. Between warming them up and breaks during the day you could burn 6 hrs in no time. Just my opinion...

Yesterday was way crowded compared to last weekends early treat. Just checked the web cams looks like there blasting snow in the valley by the six pack. Maybe hold of until tomorrow and the valley will be up and running....please? I don't know if I want to pay full price for the Burma and main street lifts.
