  1. The Fullerton St bridge will be totally replaced with one long enough to accommodate the extra lanes underneath. The 5th street bridge (overpass over 22 right before you get to Fullerton going east) will be removed and not replaced at all. The two Rt 22 bridges over the river and over Dauphin st will be replaced with six lane versions. The merge lanes between Fullerton and MacAurthur will extend the entire length. I think the Walmart fullfillment center has been open for awhile. It has nice, almost direct access to 78 so doesn't contribute too much to the horrors of rt 22. The site also has direct rail access though I don't know if they use it
  2. Did I say I was against it? I simply said that it was going to cause a large increase of vehicles into an already choked roadway that will be further constricted by a widening project that's going to be going on for five more years. Pointing it out to people who might not be aware. That scoping out those alternate routes now might benefit in the future. I'm here to help. You were close, I live in Allen Twp, not East Allen. But as I'm on the river side of the airport, I rarely use 22 for anything, including my commute, so it doesn't really affect me. Blue is a quick jaunt up a few back roads from my house. It's gonna be sweet when 22 is all 3 lanes and so is the extension all the way down to Mid-County though.
  3. I'm not sure that I would call 14,000+ vehicles daily "inconsequential," but to each their own. "Citing the developer's traffic study conducted by engineering firm Pidcock Co., Hanover officials say the completed project is expected to generate 14,602 vehicle trips daily, including tractor-trailers, small-box delivery trucks and employee cars. The bulk of that traffic will travel south from the FedEx megahub through Hanover along Willowbrook Road, Race Street and Airport Road to Route 22, officials said."
  4. Start looking for those alternate routes this season for when FedEx opens over by the airport. You think 22 is bad now? Wait until they add all those trucks that have to get from Airport Rd to the extension or 78.
  5. Who was bitching? One person asked a question, and then several of us entered a discussion about what we thought a mountain should do in that situation that would be in the best interest of both the mountain and the consumer, because their website leaves that situation as a grey area. Turns out what they did was exactly what I had said would be the best for both parties, replacement ticket but no refund in holding with the "no refunds" policy they have. Kudos to them for doing the right thing.
  6. There's really no excuse to not issue rain checks if you choose to close with that much of the day left, particularly a day that turns pretty nice after the storm blows through. I get no refunds, but the consumer needs to get what they paid for
  7. Have they always had 5 cameras?!? If so, I can't believe I'm just finding the one labeled "Terrain Run" now!
  8. Looks like they got those lowest guns on Homesteetch in on the action too
  9. Wouldn't surprise me if they opened Thursday and maybe Friday with the runs they have released so far, while blowing mostly in the base area Thursday and Friday night to open with the high speeds on the busier weekend. Seems like solid business sense.
  10. More guns on in the valley now. Wonder if something is up with those two most downhill guns. I haven't caught them on once yet.
