Also, don't discount the wave pool effect snow. -
Opening weekend roll call 11/25-11/27

All three days. If the weather is 90% chance of steady rain, likely no Sausage Sunday. -

I used to be really into being a dad, but then I became a skier

Upstairs on the load terminal taking shape nicely, it looks like

Pushing out the snow in the horseshoe area too. Filling in the queue area for the OG6

It'll be a better watch once they get the cosmic lighting installed

Yeah, that's Frontier Alley. I bet Homestretch is good to go after the last 2 days

I don't think there's any chance they don't open on Friday. Forecast isn't looking super awful so far, chance of rain only 50%. Saturday forecast is currently clear during the day then rain beginning at night. Maybe they close Sunday for rain with 80-90% chance and more than half an inch of rain forecast. Hoping any forecast changes are for the better . . .

I guess the crane is much more in the foreground than I thought at first, and is blocking it.

Is it my eyes playing tricks on me, or did they remove one of the two terminal supports?
-
Crane is on-site on the Vally cam.

If the production up the rest of the hill looks anything like those whales on the school hill, I like our chances. EDIT: Rain being the xfactor though. I could see them holding off even with enough snow if the rain looks too bad

They're definitely giving it hell on Homestretch/lift area now. Both of the new guns pointed at the OG6 are ripping, and it looks like they have a portable gun over by the construction area pointed back toward the lift as well.
-
Haul rope is definitely on-site, and partially strung. Not sure if it goes all the way up to the summit and back to this spot, since it didn't look to be over the pulleys on the left as it is on the right side.

Coming soon to a mountain near you

FYI, in case anyone (else) was looking to drop ‘em off for a very last minute tune, Blue is currently 2 weeks out. Dropped off a set that needs a bit of repair but elected to keep the main skis when I saw they were giving a return date of 12/3, I’ll get them waxed later

Valley learning hill too. They're really getting after it

Right? Opening day Burma and back? Unprecedented!
-
Probably want to keep the snow off lower main until the new lift is done? And also provide a route (especially a green one) to connect top lodgers with the other open terrain. Plus with the gun upgrade last season on Burma it's cheap in resource cost to lay down snow, like Coming Soon.
