Crane is on-site on the Vally cam.
-
If the production up the rest of the hill looks anything like those whales on the school hill, I like our chances. EDIT: Rain being the xfactor though. I could see them holding off even with enough snow if the rain looks too bad
-
They're definitely giving it hell on Homestretch/lift area now. Both of the new guns pointed at the OG6 are ripping, and it looks like they have a portable gun over by the construction area pointed back toward the lift as well.
-
Haul rope is definitely on-site, and partially strung. Not sure if it goes all the way up to the summit and back to this spot, since it didn't look to be over the pulleys on the left as it is on the right side.

Coming soon to a mountain near you
-
FYI, in case anyone (else) was looking to drop ‘em off for a very last minute tune, Blue is currently 2 weeks out. Dropped off a set that needs a bit of repair but elected to keep the main skis when I saw they were giving a return date of 12/3, I’ll get them waxed later
-
Valley learning hill too. They're really getting after it
-
Right? Opening day Burma and back? Unprecedented!
-
Probably want to keep the snow off lower main until the new lift is done? And also provide a route (especially a green one) to connect top lodgers with the other open terrain. Plus with the gun upgrade last season on Burma it's cheap in resource cost to lay down snow, like Coming Soon.

I could see them leaving that piece further back and offscreen since it should be significantly smaller. I bet the sides are where they are because of their length and inability to easily move them over later.
-
Action by the lower terminal, a ute just came ripping in and a dude jumped out. Wouldn't be surprised to see the crane come in soon.
-
Hopefully they can get the big pieces on the upper terminal today and move the crane down to the valley to tackle the lower terminal tomorrow, then blow like hell without having to worry about the equipment.
-
Cement truck just rolled through the frame headed out from over by the quad. Wonder what they were pouring out of frame that way.
-
Unload terminal may be going together? Tough to tell from the Valley cam, but looks like something tall on top of the ridge (crane?) that wasn't there before:
-
Flurries on the webcam are good for stoke
-
Camelback blew last night too. Pics on their FB page. Nice for stoke that everyone is getting after it first chance they got.
-
Testing again right now if anyone wants to watch lift spin for stoke. Imagine your job was to stand in one spot all day just lifting the bubble as the chair comes into the station. Hopefully it's automated, but it looks like someone standing there today
-
I would think they would be trying to kick it into high gear . . . I can't imagine they want to miss many chances to blow on the Valley School hill and delay getting that cash cow up and running. It would be so lol if they can't do anymore work on hoisting the lower house until that tiny operator shack is done because of spacing or something, since I notice they are still working on that today. I realize it's probably more likely they are awaiting a crane rental

Valley School Triple is still there, but the doubles are indeed gone.

I would define supplemental as a device you can move with you to a new room if you want to heat only the area you are in. My basement, where I am working now that I work from home, has it's own electric baseboard heat. It's only one 8 or 10 foot heater, has a wall mounted thermostat. But still not supplemental. If I was using the Mr Heater portable propane jobber to heat the area while working since it's much cooler in the basement, that would be supplemental. I actually have used neither, since I like it cool, but we were out as of the last mini cold stretch since my wife can't handle less than 68 in the house for any kind of stretch so the main heat pump has been on and off as needed
