Testing again right now if anyone wants to watch lift spin for stoke. Imagine your job was to stand in one spot all day just lifting the bubble as the chair comes into the station. Hopefully it's automated, but it looks like someone standing there today

I would think they would be trying to kick it into high gear . . . I can't imagine they want to miss many chances to blow on the Valley School hill and delay getting that cash cow up and running. It would be so lol if they can't do anymore work on hoisting the lower house until that tiny operator shack is done because of spacing or something, since I notice they are still working on that today. I realize it's probably more likely they are awaiting a crane rental

Valley School Triple is still there, but the doubles are indeed gone.

I would define supplemental as a device you can move with you to a new room if you want to heat only the area you are in. My basement, where I am working now that I work from home, has it's own electric baseboard heat. It's only one 8 or 10 foot heater, has a wall mounted thermostat. But still not supplemental. If I was using the Mr Heater portable propane jobber to heat the area while working since it's much cooler in the basement, that would be supplemental. I actually have used neither, since I like it cool, but we were out as of the last mini cold stretch since my wife can't handle less than 68 in the house for any kind of stretch so the main heat pump has been on and off as needed
-
Only kinda. It's an asterisk like Maris' 61. The goal is to prolong flipping on the whole house heating system that sucks money from your wallet like Salty's off-season posts suck the soul out of anyone who reads them. So with that in mind, making it to 11/14 with only supplemental space heaters is worth celebrating, even if it's not recognized by the official No-Heat November sanctioning bodies.

Pretty impressed at them moving those big ass assemblies over by the house so easily. Never done anything like that, but I feel like the guy in the long arm picker thing must've needed some serious skills without the ability to directly pivot like the guy in the excavator could

You forgot "readjust anything that was miscalculated due to Blue being Blue."

Looks like there's still a few double chairs left, but better hurry for anyone who wants one.
-
Yeah, they definitely filled it with something and then put those mats over it. The stuff filling up the walk in to the lazy river looked like Mentos, lol. That just seems like a lot of height to make up at the loading platform, the chairs look like they are clearing the barrels at about the right height to sit down. I guess if you lay down a 24 inch base it's not so bad
-
Curious about this barrel setup. Wonder if they are going to bury all of that with snow? Is it just there for height now so that they can access the chairs easily and will be removed later and filled with base? And why the heck did they grade such an uphill to get to the load point?

I think on busy weekends with all three lifts running the OG six-pack should be the dedicated VIP lift for season passholders.
-
Looks like some cable running in progress, Main St cam clearly shows cables draped from the closest tower, and Valley cam I think you can see some if you look over by the trees by the second tower
-
Kid had a soccer tournament the weekend it was at NCC. Could be down for Collegeville.

Spools in the background of this pic of part of the upper terminal. We know the ones in the valley are communication cable, wonder if one of these is the haul rope?
-
Some progress today at least, more progress on the scanners and the head placed on top of the first pole. Would like to see the terminal come together.
-
The Poconos first bubble lift is currently spinning a rope full of chairs. It's a nice site I'd like to see at Blue soon
-
The full rope full of new chairs about an hour north looks pretty sweet

Okay, zoom back in now. 😂🤣

Not sure what the daylight situation is, but maybe the chopter needs a fuel up. Probably too dark to finish though. That work is too risky to do in anything but full light
-
Calling it a day with 2 towers left, I guess?
-
Yeah, this next one should be the one right there on the inside curve on Main
