  1. Yeah, I'm thankful for that early dismissal, because the text alerted me to the storm. When I looked it up, it said potential for large hail so I went and moved some things in my garage so I could pull my truck in off the driveway. Of course, since I did that, we won't get any major hail up this way.
  2. I figured you would be able to reverse engineer the sale listing and tell us how many they have "in stock" and how many have sold. πŸ˜‚
  3. Yeah, Blue would never drop a trail as challenging as the double lift line would be right into a beginner trail like the bottom of Burma.
  4. Agreed. Mostly. 🀣🀣
  5. I can't wait to read about them destroying those waterslides when they lose control of a swinging lift tower while trying to set it
  6. I don't think that the lift could start where they want it to and then make the turn to drop into that lift line without an angle station, which is surely more expensive then clearing the new line. Maybe if they could have reused the footers from the doubles it could have been feasible.
  7. Looks like the Main St rope is coming off now
  8. At Blue that only works for @Johnny Law
  9. It’s not the Vista lift’s fault you can’t follow directions
  10. Trust GSS. He's never wrong.
  11. It would be interesting to see the average Pocono's skiier encounter a mid-station lift, but I also think it's going to be interesting to see the dynamics of that intersection with no lift loading going on. Smoothing the transition from Burma to Shuttle and avoiding the uphill to go over the horn could make Burma runs more enjoyable. I've wondered how the lift line is going to interact with the learning hill and the carpets there, if the station is to be where the warming hut was.
  12. Valid, if early, concern. The Camel doesn't seem to rush to be first, and always has excuses ready
  13. Probably splice the two of them together and use them for the new lift
  14. I can only assume that confused face is because Salty is wondering why the hell nothing is happening when he swipes right.
  15. At $1200 a chair, there's no money left for a table!
  16. Yeah, that's why it was inevitable, once it changed owners. Not necessary, just inevitable. Just like the mountain coaster is inevitable.
  17. @Benm any radio chatter about the Vista lift? Curious about that based on the weird verbiage in the leaked "anouncement"
  18. Pass a hat in case Blue won't refund?
  19. I figured the same, pay to park and then park anywhere. I don't see them sectioning off SP from general paid. Unlike at Camel with the multil levels and all the stairs, the lot doesn't lend itself well to a Premium parking, unless they call the area over by the learning hill "premium" for proximity. A little easier to sell with the new lift, but those in the know realize that lift won't serve the best terrain anyway. Blue's upper lot could be easily stratified into premium/general, but you already have to be a donkey to park up there, let alone consider it at all "premium."
  20. I definitely agree as well, just remembering the pushback we gave them a few years back when Barb tried to move us. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ We coulda had fire pits!
  21. Paid parking was always inevitable, and it was equally inevitable that season passholders won't have to pay. I just hope they don't crack down on shenanigans, and I hope that they don't cordon and stratify the lot, sending SP holders to bumfuck for our free parking.
  22. Can ya do us a favor and hack in and zoom that camera out a little? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  23. Can see a bit of the excavator going to town on the Warming Hut on the Valley cam from time to time
  24. That reminds me, I need to shop around for a bigger shed.
  25. Was just curious. We have a scanner around here somewhere that the wife's ex left behind but I doubt I could pick up the feed EDIT: I know you meant you could digitize and provide a feed link. Realized my comment was confusing
