  1. Love my seasonal locker. Probably get one next year too. I still boot up at the car.
  2. Burnt ends.
  3. An epic nap was also involved.
  4. Eh, out on cooking tomorrow. Ran out of time to get anything together.
  5. Saturday and Sunday. Considering the menu now.
  6. Pops and I spotted her from the lift. She was around the hard corner, actually off the snow. I was momentarily confused by someone off the trail but with the skis very orderly sorted a few feet away, until I saw the camera
  7. A Dollar General there would actually be hella clutch when I forget shit on Sausage Sunday
  8. I’d rather keep Sidewinder as a ski trail than get Nightweaver back. I love both options, but they need a full size park and would rather they take Nightweaver
  9. It does require a fair number of people to run though, assuming you run it like Blue with an attendant manning every lane. Certainly you get enough customers to pay them many times over, but that doesn’t matter if they can’t get the bell.
  10. I took the never take them out comment as “why would anyone ever want to soften the flex on their boot?”
  11. My money is on $799 early bird, justified by free parking and making it a 2-mountain pass. $999 non-discounted. Marketing will compare the cost to buying passes for both Blue and Camelback this year making it look like a deal.
  12. Correction. Blue is going to charge for parking next season and season passholders will get a discount on paying for it with their price-increased season pass.
  13. They’re claiming full open and 40 trails and you can’t even access that little Pioneer Pass trail I talked about last week, so . . . Pops and I skied by it last weekend for giggles after getting to Widow and seeing an actual closed sign. Giant canyon between Vista and the “entrance” and a Closed sign between two of the zip line support polls, lol
  14. Nah. Nothing planned. Probably order pizza. Watching alone in my basement, lol
  15. Probably both days, soreness is dissipating nicely. No cooking this weekend. Gotta get home and settle in on Sunday. Who Dey!
  16. There's even pretty good base in the trees off the base of White Lightning headwall.
  17. I ordered a pair of ABOMs and a replacement lens, was going to buy a hard case too since they are half off but forgot to add it to the cart. If anyone else places and order and is willing to throw in a case I'll happily pay you for it. But not worth paying $12 shipping for a $15 case, lol
  18. Send me that, with the end, lol. Or post it up, no matter to me. 😂
  19. I think so, can’t recall any others. I really wish I knew what that groove was. It was on the flat runout after the trail. Saw it too late or could have glided over it, but was in a hard hockey slide to get rid of the speed and they went in long ways, threw me right in the air. Legs hit something on the way in, the group said a barrel around a snow gun. Starting to get sore now, shins and right shoulder. This too shall pass. According to Ski Tracks going into the woods was the fastest I was moving all day, lol
  20. Found some sort of groove/notch at the bottom of White Lightning and dropped the skis into it while skidding off speed on the second run. Went HARD into the trees, but after a couple of worrisome moments it turned out that all was well, and none of the lift drinks had sprung a leak. Crisis averted.
  21. I’m sure they can move some bunny slope lifts from out west somewhere to service the entire vertical at Boulder.
  22. Freedom and Love also off the map. Vail is clearly making statement.
  23. The half sunk traffic cones sticking up out of the puddles are hilarious
  24. There’s always the Texas wiener/cheeseburger scene in Scranton as a backup if the go to pizza places are closed. Family favorites are the Glider diner and Coney Island Lunch on Lackawanna Ave. But NOT Coney Island of Scranton on Cedar, they can fuck right off.
