Maybe highlight of the season for me was the last run, when my little dude dropped into Widowmaker with barely a pause at the top. From Crossover he looked up and swore he wanted to do it, I said let's go to the top and look and make sure. Thought for sure he back out. I stop and I'm like "OK buddy what do you think – oh crap he's going!" Lol

I have an extra set of ex-Blue Mountain rental poles that I bought at the tent sale for like $10 a few years ago I can throw in the truck. Not sure on the size, but beggars, choosers n’at.

Brisket is in the smoker, so are the ABTs. Ribs about ready to be rubbed and put in the smoker. Pork tenderloins in the fridge ready to go. Turkey breast is injected and resting. Need to slice the steak. And make dessert. Think there’s a couple things I’m forgetting. They’ll come to me.

They did me a small favor being closed today. Elbow deep in prep but still got to sleep in a bit.

Generator. Picked up a small inverter generator finally. Suppose to be super quiet. Grabbed a few quarts of heavy cream at the restaurant depot tonight. @Johnny Lawknows. Also a bunch of jalapeños and some marscapone for a dish that may or may not happen depending on time.

Oven is expected to be present. That’s how I plan to cook the crabcakes.

Drink machine probably makes it’s triumphant return. Bought a gennie on Amazon yesterday.
