  1. I’ve had Shake Shack two or three times and it was good but WAY overpriced.
  2. Yeah, and I believe the legend of the Beltzville Buoy isn’t that it’s tidal based as much as the changes in barometric pressure that pass through the area a few days before a winter storm comes in cause a unique interaction with the fiberfill in the used diapers increasing their buoyancy, which makes the buoy pop.
  3. just got done shoveling. Wasn’t too bad. Took a little under an hour with a couple 10ish minute breaks to do about 30x25 foot driveway and about 100 feet of sidewalk. I like to use a 2 shovel method, push it around with a curved plow blade looking shovel then attack it in smaller multiple piles with the bent handle snow thrower shovel. Seems to work well for up to 4-6 inches. Definitely annoying walking past the non-fictional snowblower on the way in and out of the garage tho
  4. It skied like it was at least 5 degrees tho

I think the $5 card charge is common most places that do them. I know it was added to both my trips to Steamboat and at Copper in the past few years.
  7. Turns out this was fake news. It’ll be low key, but we’ll have somethin
  8. Was planning to cook tomorrow but with the temps, the Eagles playing at 1 and the lack of prep that I’ve done, probably nix it.
  9. How was Lloyd’s?
  10. Nightmare won’t have bumps, it will have a booter.
  11. I’m imaging chicken SKIN, like goosebumps, but of course could be way off base because Skiincy certainly didn’t say that. But she was describing a feel, not necessarily visual, so that popped into my head.
  12. I was about 40% of the way up the hill for that stoppage, thankfully not in front of a snow gun. The start/stops (there were actually 4, three quick ones then a fourth a few minutes later) actually had me a bit worried it could be a REALLY long wait.
  13. Not quite an actual trail, it’s kind of like x-ing. Pops out the side of Vista and cuts the corner to drop into Connector. Maybe 200 feet long. They built the ropes course next to/around it including the aforementioned zip line. It might be where they used to have the Big Air Bag, but that may have been right on the side of Vista
  14. I can’t see Pioneer Pass opening. I mean, they put a zipline on it and three anchor poles across the entrance. Really they’re down to 39 trails again. I mean, it’s a slow “trail “so they could fence-funnel the entrance around the poles without worrying too much about people impacting them, but it’s a lot of effort for nothing
  15. I didn’t realize there were stairs up there. I figured if you used that hack you had to scramble up the bank
  16. My comment was in jest, not based on any rumor or anything. But valley to top of Main Street chair would be dumb imo. Why install a gondola that serves only half of the current mountain and nothing new that they may add? That’s more of a Camelback move. — oh, right.
  17. Gondi from the new base pod to a mid station up by the quad, then turn and descend to the top lodge.
  18. Saturday for sure. Sunday depends on weather. Probably no sausage Sunday.
  19. Yours looks just like mine too, big number is vertical descent with uphill and total smaller under it. Indiggio has total vertical as the bigger number then breaks down the ascent and descent under it. Wonder what his is set to.
  20. I can see counting it for those that uphill travel or xc skiing. I like the way it shows on mine, downhill is the big number, then adds the uphill and totals it. I wonder if choosing the default activity makes a difference. I set mine to "skiing" but xc and other things are options so maybe that affects the display.
  21. The crab cakes make up for it
  22. Is that iOS? I use ski tracks as well (Android) but I don’t see the run count field on that screen
