Last year when it was free I asked at the tubing window if the free pass for my 5 year old and the $179 pass for my 7 year old included tubing, and was told that all season passes did. I want to say that at least one of their passes then didn’t open the RF gate but there was no attendant at the gate and I just had him go around it. I don’t think they know their own rules. They told me that they couldn’t turn 6 before Jan 15th, but I told them that the website said otherwise and they checked with someone and sold it to me. Yeah, I’m not sure if it’s supposed to. I never found any language about it on the site last year, so I asked. After the window attendant told me it did, I didn’t feel bad having him bypass the gate once on the snow. I was willing to pay for a ticket for him. I wasn’t willing to walk back around to the automated kiosk after waiting in line because the employee was wrong. That would be interesting to know about. In the past the language was clear about the free ticket for the day or free season pass. Interested to hear what their response to a day ticket inquiry is

Their system was down so I couldn’t buy it ahead online, so waited at Guest Service. She asked when he turned 6 and I said next month, and she said that because they wouldn’t be open before his 6th birthday he couldn’t get a child pass. I told her that the website just said that it had to be processed by showing up at Guest Services with his birth certificate prior to his birthday. Then she said that their policy was age on Jan 15 to determine eligibility. I repeated what the website had said when it was working. She chatted with someone and processed it and it took 3 minutes after that.

yeah, that sale was hot garbage. Very little selection in anything but used rental skis. Not a wasted trip either tho, because I was able to (after some mild insistence) get Grayson’s child season pass purchased. Pops and I then went over to Buckman’s where I found nice deals on a new jacket and pants for Walter

Almost guaranteed! Planning to hit the Warren Miller movie next month which includes a lift voucher to Vermont’s southernmost resort.

Honestly, we’d be lucky to make one weekend out of PA on the east coast. And probably won’t even do that, just talk about it a bunch.

Drove by the Buckmans in Montgomeryville on the way to assist another tech in Ft Washington yesterday. Was going to check out the same on the way home but ended up down there late enough that I wasn’t willing to take the long way home and got on the pike

The student pass language scared me. Just jumped on the group sales page courtesy of mute and grabbed the boy’s pass for $189 before they killed that

That link said I was successfully registered after I logged in. That $25 lesson add on is interesting as shit. It makes me choose a group affiliation and when I click on it the only option is Spring Garden Ski Club so I'm guessing I just registered to your kid's school? LOL Checked the calendar and it looks like you can buy a $25 group lesson any weeknight at 4 or 6 pm. Interesting.

At those prices I would start to consider the every other year, finish out the season on next years pass plan. Was a lot easier of a consideration to do so when there were affordable day ticket deals to be had though
