  1. I knew you went that way.
  2. Eh, he made an honest mistake. He’s a good dude. He thought you were really worried he might have given you the Rona
  3. Nah, I’d have to upload it somewhere to post it, don’t want to do that since it’s not mine. It’s just a dude saying “that’s Mike, he’s supposed to be here.(turns camera to empty seat next to him) but apparently it’s his first time loading a lift. (Turns camera at self (masked 😂) Genius.” It’s like 10 seconds long.
  4. It turns out that’s a guy I work with. I think it’s his brother on the chair behind him, who he was supposed to be with, but he messed up and went out early because they were talking and when the Burma chair whipped by he pushed out and couldn’t get back. Said his mask had just fallen down and you sounded so mad he didn’t say anything else except to offer his contact info since you were so upset. The pic is a screengrab I took from a short video his bro made making fun of him for loading wrong.
  5. A confidential informant dropped this photographic evidence of a disgruntled Grilled Steeze Sandwhich on the Main Street chair on my inbox:
  6. Can also add fun widgets to the video with it:
  7. Price early bird at $550, $25 discount per prior year of consecutive pass ownership up to max discount $100. The $450 passes they sell to the most loyal customers being offset by the $550 passes they sell to all the first time passholders that bought this year, but everyone gets a better price then new buyers who get $600 price ~ 2 weeks before anticipated close.
  8. Listening to sports radio out of Philthy and they all sound stunned that it’s snowing. I guess all the local forecasts down there said rain only? the ladies at the Quakertown Wawa are also surprised it’s accumulating. Heard them talking about expecting a dusting then rain to melt it away. Sounds like a lot of people caught off guard by this one.
  9. My GoPro captures speed data via its GPS as well. Someday I’ll compare a couple runs on it and the ski tracks data from the same run, see what it looks like. I also don’t expect that one to be true to life accurate either.
  10. If I have to pay a much higher price, parking lot sessions might get a downgrade 😂😂. Baloney Sandwich Sunday, anyone?
  11. I said before in another thread, I think they should go that route AND offer the early-early bird to re-ups only. Grab cash now, don’t add any skiers to the “uncountables” and don’t give up any cash for day tickets they might still see before the end of the year.
  12. Coming hard and fast (giggity!) in Quakertown! They are saying 1+ inch an hour for a couple hours, creating poor visibility. Can confirm the poor visibility and tough roads.
  13. I also like to look at the actual tracks sometime. This was last Sunday when NaCl and I did some woods tromping.
  14. I can’t see me paying $1000 for a Blue pass, unless Camelback and Montage both went to close to the same price. I’d rather ski Blue, but I’d be willing to ski the other two. I’d rather not ski Camel twice a weekend, every weekend, and I’d rather not drive to Montage every weekend (would probably only ski one day a week if I ended up at Montage) but $1000 is an easy “no” from me. Maybe I would pay it for a 22/23 pass if they went on sale in Feb and I could do March + the next season. I think around $650 is my gut check price.
  15. Yeah, it looks like the far right one was the run we did the Main St glade, you can see the pause where Pops and I talked about what line he wanted and I recorded him. The other with the jerky pauses up high, not real sure what those were.
  16. I enjoy looking at the speed numbers, but I only trust them as a comparison against other numbers I got from the same device.
  17. It is annoying that they don't have both doubles loading from the start. Not having staffing isn't an acceptable excuse. Tickets are sold out, so the demand is obviously going to be there, and the revenue already in. Pay the staff, load the lifts. It seemed like they got both doubles spinning today well ahead of the time they did yesterday. And for as bad as the lines looked going past the patrol shack at the double, when we quit at 10:40ish it was still less than 10 minutes in line.
  18. Oooh, oyster bar! Hmm . . .
  19. Double on the same pole? That’s the dream . . .
  20. Not if we (well, both of us anyway) had made that first exit, that would have been a piece of cake
  21. Did you get the one? I’d grab one and have faith the other will come too.
