Data point on Blue preseason tunes, it's a good time to take 'em in. Pops got the call yesterday that the skis we dropped off to be mounted with the bindings we bought at the tent sale were ready, so I had him drop my skis for a preseason tune while he went up to pick them up. They called same afternoon that they are ready, so turning them around quick right now.

I hope Blue upgrades to the moving cameras CBack has now. But since this one is new which implies work just done, that seems unlikely

Booked flights to Steamboat last night. $330 round trip out of PHL. Would have been $70 more expensive to/from DEN, on the same planes. Always interesting when that happens. I usually don't see it on Southwest. Also booked just in time. Almost $100 more expensive right now. Of course, my booking 5 seats probably helped push that up.

Just booked Steamboat for Feb so stoke level is as high as can be over here as well.

Bought them in March 2023 and love them. Been my daily skis since except for early season when the coverage was sketchy. I don't have a ton to compare it to, but find it to be very stable and no issues getting on and holding an edge. Light enough especially in the tip and tail to be able to manhandle around when needed to maneuver on Blue's slopes crowded with jabronis

The snowmaking upgrade videos have been good for stoke as well. Happy to see they are putting the new fan guns on Falls. They need to get that open as soon as the base +Lazy opens for flow purposes

I know, and it was good to see. If there's enough snow to keep them, good for them. Those peeps will have a lot more fun running it over and over again than I would so if it goes, they can have it and I'll stay home. Just saying I don't think that a narrowed Razors and skiing around jumps on NightWeaver will get me out on Saturday. Burma may open but also would avoid, skiing quad to Burma and all the way back through Homestretch (can't see Barb's Way making it) is such a chore in the slow snow.

Nuts that it ran right into one of the towers/pilings. Wonder if they lost rudder or something. Loss of life obviously the most pressing concern, but that's also going to change daily life in the entire Baltimore area significantly for quite some time. Obviously forces even more traffic through the two tunnels, but also much more the long way around the west side of the beltway, due to the tunnel-restricted loads that would have used the Key Bridge instead now all having to take that route.
