They got dumped after it’s been low tide all winter, right? Not too shocked by that

Running late as usual. No matter how much time I think I have allotted morning prep always runs away from me. Probably 8:45ish. No need to wait on us, we can find the halfway house.

Who are you and what have you done with Eaf?

We will aim for 740 as well, though we're always late. We knew the location of the halfway house well enough to find it ourselves on the second attempt last year. 😂😂 I'll literally brining only meat this time, so anything one thinks we might need. Ribs and pork will be rubbed but not sauced, so if someone has a BBQ sauce they think I'd just awesome, bring it and share the love. Plates, paper towels could come in handy.

Weekend roll call thread 2/6-2/7...
enjoralas replied to GrilledSteezeSandwich's topic in Blue Mountain
Probably Sunday. Wife would kill me if I got home at midnight Friday and went skiing 7 hours later. Plus I’ll be tired. No Sausage Sunday due to Meaty Monday. -
I’d be interested in trying them against the Rossi 88s. Pulled the trigger on Soul 7s today but would probably still ski the 88s on hard/frozen days. Edit: didn’t read further to see that you think Schif is too heavy for them, that would certainly apply to me then, lol

Pops and I are in as long as we don’t get buried. Bringing meatz.

I registered with LVHN as extrememly obese but haven’t tried to chase an appointment anywhere else. Figure they’ll message me eventually

Getting ready now! 6 inches overnight after 3 yesterday, still snowing, should be a good day

Well, since I don’t know your sister in law, I was obviously talking about Steeze. The list of acceptable conditions to be in this round (for PA) includes a lot of things like obesity and smoking, that qualifies outwardly “healthy” people.

Get fatter.

Yeah, Joel at opensnow is saying 6-12. More than that I’d have to rent wider skis anyway. Probably not going to pursue adding their early access. $59 and only gives 15 minute priority, although I think dedicated lines at each lift all day is probably the main draw

Skiing anywhere Thursday? Hoping for a small powder day here. Think we’re gonna see about adding the early access to our tickets for that day
-
Probably unserviceable stemming from something @saltyantdid when he worked there

Still super jelly, but I guess there are worse things then ripping western groomers all day. Best part is my wife should have it all shoveled out by the time I get home.

Super jelly. Skied nothing but western groomers today

You are all so very welcome. Copper forecast to get like 5 inches total between now and Friday

Gotta alternate.

If they were smart they would advertise a “renewal-only” price of $449-499 for current pass holders now, as well as announce new passes on sale March 15ish for $549, which would also then become the renewal price. They would get a big cash grab right now without adding any more pass holders to the “ski whenever you like ranks” thus avoiding impacting their capacity calculations, and would be able to continue brisk day ticket sales. They may miss out on a few tickets by putting a date on it, but it’s a risk if people want to ski a couple days to put it off to mid-March.

I think we’ll find out when early bird passes go on sale. If they are stays quo or better for cash flow/profitability, I think we’ll see similar pricing to the past few years. If they are hurting it will be higher. I’m expecting $599 early bird, $699 after the season ends, and $799 after the 2021 season starts.
