  1. My GoPro captures speed data via its GPS as well. Someday I’ll compare a couple runs on it and the ski tracks data from the same run, see what it looks like. I also don’t expect that one to be true to life accurate either.
  2. If I have to pay a much higher price, parking lot sessions might get a downgrade 😂😂. Baloney Sandwich Sunday, anyone?
  3. I said before in another thread, I think they should go that route AND offer the early-early bird to re-ups only. Grab cash now, don’t add any skiers to the “uncountables” and don’t give up any cash for day tickets they might still see before the end of the year.
  4. Coming hard and fast (giggity!) in Quakertown! They are saying 1+ inch an hour for a couple hours, creating poor visibility. Can confirm the poor visibility and tough roads.
  5. I also like to look at the actual tracks sometime. This was last Sunday when NaCl and I did some woods tromping.
  6. I can’t see me paying $1000 for a Blue pass, unless Camelback and Montage both went to close to the same price. I’d rather ski Blue, but I’d be willing to ski the other two. I’d rather not ski Camel twice a weekend, every weekend, and I’d rather not drive to Montage every weekend (would probably only ski one day a week if I ended up at Montage) but $1000 is an easy “no” from me. Maybe I would pay it for a 22/23 pass if they went on sale in Feb and I could do March + the next season. I think around $650 is my gut check price.
  7. Yeah, it looks like the far right one was the run we did the Main St glade, you can see the pause where Pops and I talked about what line he wanted and I recorded him. The other with the jerky pauses up high, not real sure what those were.
  8. I enjoy looking at the speed numbers, but I only trust them as a comparison against other numbers I got from the same device.
  9. It is annoying that they don't have both doubles loading from the start. Not having staffing isn't an acceptable excuse. Tickets are sold out, so the demand is obviously going to be there, and the revenue already in. Pay the staff, load the lifts. It seemed like they got both doubles spinning today well ahead of the time they did yesterday. And for as bad as the lines looked going past the patrol shack at the double, when we quit at 10:40ish it was still less than 10 minutes in line.
  10. Oooh, oyster bar! Hmm . . .
  11. Double on the same pole? That’s the dream . . .
  12. Not if we (well, both of us anyway) had made that first exit, that would have been a piece of cake
  13. Did you get the one? I’d grab one and have faith the other will come too.
  14. And the reason the K1 hoses are so short and the pumps are at the store not the fuel island.
  15. Was snowing quite hard in Quakertown around noon, though the pic doesn’t do justice to the flakage
  16. Should be there both days. No @popsSaturday.
  17. Edit it double speed with the Benny Hill music over top and submit it to Jerry of the Day
  18. Correct. About 20-25 cents. Over a little longer than that, per this log anyway.
  19. Guess the state fish of Hawai’i is right out.
  20. Good lookin out, thanks. Checked my email and they told everyone to come back Friday. I’ll play tomorrow by ear, if snow is bad I’ll excercise my leave at noon option. Either way I’ll be putting in for afternoon off Friday to make my appointment. Probably opens up some availability Friday though. Wonder how they figure that out, since no one has to reconfirm?
  21. Already have a half day of work for Covid vaccine. If that’s cancelled I’m keeping the half day and coming up early afternoon, 2ish. If the vaccine isn’t cancelled, that appt is 5:15 so might come up after
  22. It’s not a wash for my kid.
  23. Damn kids oughta be in school!
