I’ll do a few racks, some pulled pork and some chicken thighs. If anyone wants any non-meat eats, chime in what you wanna bring. Same with the rolls and stuff. Can’t grill in the lot so only gonna bring the pans of meat in the Cambro and warm them on the fire.

I could pre-cook some things and use the fire to warm them and do a Meaty Monday at vehicles apres if we want to. I’m sure we all don’t want to hang out inside, nice and convenient as those tables are.

Looks like according to the FAQ on Elk's page the Halfway House (picnic lodge I assume) is open, @rummyhave they been firing up the grill in there?

I hit a particularly slow patch after run 1, down Paradise, after the Weaver funnel in. Ejected over the handlebars. Pissed me right off. Looking like egg sangs on muffins along with assorted and sundry meats for tomorrow.

I can help with this. Probably take longer than it will take for your group to come around though. I’m group 1C by essential worker qualification, signs up on the Lehman site. Didn’t realize BMI alone was a qualifier, would be in group like -1A for that, I used that online calculator and it had to use scientific notation to fit the number in the box. Checked out Doug’s link but all the dates are full. Oh well, it’ll come around.

Both days. Surely cooking Sunday. Next two Sunday’s probably not, so for sure this weekend.

Gotten comfortable with ladders in the past 15 years. Have to remember to ever get complacent. We lost a guy last year when a truck (driving through the parking lot) snagged the line he was hanging and pulled him off his ladder.

I noticed Buckmans does seasonal XC rentals, I wonder if they sell off the old gear?

Correct. Officially booked, staying in a 1 BR at Village Square which looks to be a few hundred feet from the American Eagle lift. Not quite the ski to the door we had at Steamboat last year, but I suppose I’ll manage.

Certainly don’t have to plan anything around me/Pops. We just have the day off as a “don’t feel like going back to work the Monday after a ski trip” day and the other day it suddenly made sense to hit up Elk that day.

It is. I meant 2/8. Looked at the wrong approved day off from work. We’ll be enroute back from Denver on the 5th

Pops and I are tentatively planning to ski Elk Monday, 2/5.
