  1. It will be my house. My snowblower won’t start.
  2. That’s after he shovels out the yard so he can cut lines
  3. I use cardboard (or floor mat) as well because I am fat and not flexy and can’t buckle boots without putting a knee down — and Blue’s lot is nearly always mud.
  4. I dunno, @Johnny Lawgets pretty rowdy with some natural on Burma
  5. I hope Philly gets shit on with a massive snow dump because that’s where the bosses live/work and much like the locals they act like there’s no snow anywhere if it’s not in their way.
  6. Yeah, I was thinking they would be smart to contract in some food trucks and really push it this year, but would rather see them figure something out and hang on to more of the money themselves. Love supporting the other local businesses too, but I would see food trucks as a way to relieve crowd/line pressure on their own cafe vs this year when they need to figure a way to actually increase the number of people who would use the cafe
  7. Wouldn't even be that tough, if they don't want to design a front end for it just use grubhub. If it's good enough for Pasqually's pizza and Neighborhood Wings, why not Le Cafe Bleu?
  8. Blue needs to figure out a way to get online ordering with either quick pickup or lot-side delivery for their eateries including the valley cafeteria. The ticket prices make it even more obvious they are going to be cash hurting this season, and it will be tough to make it up with high margin food given the circumstances. I’d order something many Saturdays for lot shenanigans just to support them, given the incredible deal I’ve got with my pass over new-reality ticket prices. But they would need to make it easier for me.
  9. I’ll ride with anyone here, won’t be offended if anyone doesn’t wanna ride with me, I know my job has given me more exposure than many. Pops and I are effectively in the same bubble and imagine we’ll take most rides together which works out for lift beers.
  10. They probably saw BB and assumed they were buying a luxury box for the Nuggets.
  11. Putting down the first layer on the lazy river . . .
  12. Nothing was going on Upper main earlier, dry as a bone. Lotta hours between now and then tho
  13. Sure are. There were some patches on Valley School and top and bottom of Homestretch as well when we stopped by, but those guns weren’t on
  14. Yup, as soon as they announced them I figured that’s what their thinking was. Doesn’t matter how many “experts only” signs they put up, Jerry didn’t come out and pay his $30 to ski Vista!
  15. Drove by about 20 min ago on the way home from a shop at Country Junction. Could see them going strong on lower Main up through Midway and the entire length of Burma. Nice that they should have a green root down on opening day.
  16. That’s the kind of thing I would have every intention of making and then get lazy and slap in some sort of pre-fab inflatable building circus tent thing
  17. I’ll chip in $200 to ensure it never happens
  18. Personally I don’t care if you wear a mask if socially distancing by acceptable lengths (tho I do if others are around even if we are 6-10 ft apart) but masks will be required when approaching the buffet.
  19. I actually don’t even mind the warehouses that are popping up less than a mile from my house on former farmland, although I dislike the shady dealings that put them there instead of the farmland that it used to be. But I think that 22 should have been widened to 3 lanes in each direction between the 78 access points before they started the warehouse boom along the root between those points.
  20. If God didn’t want us to taste steering wheels, he wouldn’t have shaped them like donuts.
  21. It helps in case you sneeze while driving, then the next person who uses the car won’t get Covid when they lick the steering wheel.
  22. That’s the one. About a mile from the house. Heading north you can see the lights on top of the ridge when they are on, like 5 in a row. And a glow on the clouds, when there’s cover
  23. Saw a few random flurries dancing in the headlights on the drive home. Came over the hill at the FedEx monstrosity and saw zee lights on
  24. I’ve read up some and haven’t found anything too scary. I’d love to get a chance to demo them at Blue but I doubt we’ll see a demo day this year. If the shop has them to demo I’ll pony up to try them. I’m not in a huge hurry to replace the 88s, and I would probably keep trucking them along as a fall back at least until I had a number of days in most conditions to feel comfortable leaving them home. Not like space is a premium with the truck bed. Except Gaper day, lol. I did demo the Sky 7 a couple seasons ago at Blue and liked them, but feel like it’s too close to my current ski to make sense to add them.
