  1. Jesus. Has it gotten this far? That was almost a negative word about Blue.
  2. There’s a ski instructor from Camelback posting on people’s comments on Blues “closed” status that they should come up to camelback and ski free on their passes! Lol
  3. That’s my top 3 in that order too. Elk leapt up with one visit this year. Blue will always be on top of MY top mountain list because it’s 20 minutes away. If all mountains were equidistant to me, Elk might beat it, even with the slow lifts, though it would need more visits to give it the top spot. I can have fun all around Camelback, I agree that Nile and cliffhanger are two of the best runs though. When either the raceway or glen lifts are running, I don’t mind lapping them on Pocono raceway, Rhoddodendron glen, or the two trails they took features off of this year. Shorter, but they get less traffic and the snow holds up
  4. They’re out Camelbacking Camelback this year. There’s still time for Camelback to shit all over their customer though, I have faith in them.
  5. $8 when you include the mountain bux or whatever the hell it was
  6. Good to hear edge is alive . . .
  7. See, I told you his English is turrible.
  8. I can’t believe they not only moved the pond skim, not only moved closing day, but also moved the 4 pm closing time to Saturday. Lol.
  9. Still better at English than Steeze
  10. Post an early report. Earliest I can get there is about 6. It it’s as bad as Tuesday would skip
  11. My dad started at 58 and skis the blues at Blue fine, and handles the blacks when conditions are good. You can make it happen. Once you are healed up, get out as much as you can.
  12. Camelback free ticket this weekend with season pass. Probably just got a lot busier
  13. Camelback giving a free lift ticket this weekend to anyone with a pass to another mountain
  14. Check back in circa 730 or 8 pm
  15. Wish I was there . . .
  16. Only in the wild. There’s still a few bred in captivity.
  17. Our plan is to drive up Sunday, ski Monday and Tuesday, then drive home Wednesday. Probably going to splurge on slope side lodging in the Grand. Three nights, 2 days skiing coming in for under $900
  18. What's they dynamic typically like mid-April at Killington? I know obviously a heat wave or something can change conditions drastically and quickly, but historically, have they shut a bunch of areas down by then? Trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a 4/14 - 4/17 trip with Pops. First time up there and want to make sure we don't show up and find not much we can handle.
  19. Yeah, if they stick to their hours for the week planning on coming out Tuesday and Thursday. Last week of the year, trivia just doesn't rate.
  20. The creme brulee was legit this time. Redemption achieved. Got-damned cartoon egg yolks.
  21. Spotted you a few times on the lift. Was posted up on the corner of Dreamweaver with my pal Jeremy when you came by on a ripper. Didn't want to yell and distract.
  22. Definitely more low key tomorrow, but the flattop will be in the house. Also an attempt at creme brulee redemption. Those pics were from three different peoples plates, lol
  23. Exception: pregnancy.
  24. If you need somewhere to ski next Saturday/Sunday, there are buddy passes at Blue
  25. She said exciting. I said, "but will it be epic?" But got no reaction except the table of old people next to us who looked at me weird.
