What's they dynamic typically like mid-April at Killington? I know obviously a heat wave or something can change conditions drastically and quickly, but historically, have they shut a bunch of areas down by then? Trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a 4/14 - 4/17 trip with Pops. First time up there and want to make sure we don't show up and find not much we can handle.

I know. The breaking news was sarcasm. But there won’t be snowmaking next year, per Barb. loosely quoted, “And snowmaking is the next step, it’s a big expense. We’ve been in talks with some potential investors . . . We’re trying to put together a plan to get the snowmaking all put in for the next pod of trails to open. There’s some pretty big investors we’re talking to. The next 5 years or so are going to be very exciting.”

Breaking news: talks with the conservation people have them hopeful that they can open the new trail next season for natural snow.
