Sorry, never replied. I can’t remember what my dad tried to order, but I tried to get the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Not sure whether they were out of cheese or soup.

Hitting trivia Tuesday tonight. All are welcome. 630 start, but come anytime. Hope to redeem myself from last week.

Different game.

I’m planning on a brisket and some pulled pork, some hanger steak. Some sweet Italian sausage. Probably some onions for the sausages since I have the flattop. Some sort of flatbread. Maybe some other assorted goodies. Pancakes and probably eggs for breakfast, again, flattop. Creme brûlée for dessert. My friend Jeremy is bringing some sort of marinated chicken for the grill. I’ll have the usual grill and the new flattop, as well as the little smoker cabinet. Probably won’t have the Sous vide in the lot. Haven’t pulled the trigger on a generator, haven’t been able to justify the expense to myself yet, lol. Will have a couple 6 foot tables and a 10 x 12 ez up which should guarantee a rain free event. should I bring the cornhole boards?

They didn’t have to sedate you to scan your cat, did they? Just sayin’, it might not have been the medication . . .

Problem is one person is talking about skiing, but everyone else is talking about SKIING.

Lot of people go back out for a second session on party day too.

Just sip beer and make sure no one steals the smoker/grill/griddle/possible generator and sous vide

Group vote: Sliced grilled pork tenderloin, or smoked pulled pork?

Camelback planted one of those this winter and a terrain park grew in its shadow.

Plus it’s nice to have someone hold down base camp, What with leaving a bunch of cookery out.

Snow was fantastic. Visibility up high was crap, but thankfully it was so sparsely crowded that it wasn't a big issue. Got on the snow a bit after noon and made 9 runs over almost 2 hours. Had to scarf down some chicken fingers from the lower lodge before starting. Started with NightWeaver and ran just about everything once. Lazy, Switchback to Burma chair, Widow maker, Burma, Sidewinder, Razor's (great snow on Razorback, almost untouched), Paradise, Challenge and finished with a Main Street run. Razors was run of the day. Would have loved to stay and ski more, but the drowned rat feeling drove us away. Might head up tomorrow night for a night session, since we're planning on Trivia Tuesday the next day

I agree with this assessment. Suspect they are just trying to jump start a slow initial sales flow by creating artificial urgency.

I just enjoy watching people — especially online — stamp their feet and shake their fist, whether they are right or not. It’s fun when they think it’s going to make a difference. And kudos to them the very few times that it does.

Yeah, I know it’s supposed to, but I also know last year my dad didn’t think to ask and they took the wrong one. I’ve found if it’s possible for the workers at Blue to screw something up, especially with their technology, it’s best to do my best to make it impossible for them to do so.

That’s annoying. I was planning on holding off til Gaper Day to buy my pass after using my buddy pass for a friend that day. Figured that way they couldn’t screw up and take next years buddy pass as they have been know to do.
