If that doesn’t work out I’m going to put my plan into effect, which is to get a part time job in the cafeteria and work until i’ve earned enough credit to equal the worth of the entire property, forcing them to give it to me in lieu of griftcards when I leave on unpleasant terms.

Get in as many runs down Razors as the can before the race team closes it. Natch.

The hanger steak was on point, too. Looking to repeat it this Sunday tho

Pretty sure he said "hind-opening."

It was pretty crowded, just left after a short session. Typical Pres weekend crowd, lot of beginners, lot of people where they shouldn't be. Never waited more than 2 groups in the VIP line, so 5-6 chairs max. Two main st chair trips at 2 chair wait. No complaints there. Conditions were real variable, from ice patches to scraped off pocono pavement to deep sugar stashes on the edges and corners. Made a half dozen runs sticking to the edges. Run of the afternoon was Switchback. Dreamweaver wasn't bad either. See everyone in the morning. There will be Meat.

During Jeopardy training we made the losing team in each game choose a Bertie Botf’s bean. Nice tie in with them going to Universal Orlando. Had to have some potential negative consequences to keep them honest. Need to have some skin in the game.

Not slopeside, down the road. Zack's Taco Shack. Yes.

Just saw the Facebook post, with video someone posted from the lift. Pretty sure I just skied that trail Friday, it was called Kickapoo. In all seriousness, better get it first. That trail is gonna be a shitshow.

Gotta click on events. Special ticket for demo day. https://www.buckmans.com/buckmans-ski-snowboard/events.aspx Edit: Blue's is next Wednesday. Past couple years I've taken off for it, but it snuck up on me this year and not enough notice. The Camel one will be a good chance to get up there this year

That's just the bottom part of Lazy Mile. The cant name it anything else, because then Lazy Mile won't be a mile. Pops and I just call it "The Full Mile."

I enjoy the passholder party. Minor swag and the chance at a decent prize. Usually decent food

No season pass discount on gift cards. Using it for next years season pass is a valid use for it. Still not worth it. 10 percent off giftcards are available in any quantity on Black Friday. And no risk, because you bought them yourself. The risk of a gift card purchase from an unknown buyer is worth more than a 10 percent discount.

Thanks, but it wouldn't be much help. Well, today it would have because I'm dumb and started with the windshield instead of doing the smart thing and letting that melt with the defrost while I chipped the ice off the hood and roof. I normally just let it run to melt, at least to the point where the large scraper/squeegee clears it easily. But today I had to clear all that ice off the rest so I didnt kill someone if it blew off on 378 or 309

Me too, but the van doesn't fit through the door with the ladder rack
-
Here’s hoping you have a less eventful flight than @phillycore did at Elk on Friday!
-
Leaving for work sucked this morning: Took like 35 minutes to clear all the ice off the van. An inch thick on the hood and roof. A hard 1/4 inch or more on the windows.

Yeah, but I feel like it doesn't really have to be done on Challenge while Razors is closed, especially when the race on razors is starting from Razorback and the whole top is empty. Poor management of finite resources is all
-
I've also seen them doing sled practice on Challenge while Razor is closed for the race team, taking up 1/2 that trail as well, so there's that
-
Didn’t have much issue with the drive in to work on more main roads. A little slicker but passable on side roads down in Sellersville/Bedminster area. Might be spicy driving home noonish
-
Yeah, I'm looking forward to the hour commute in a RWD cargo van
-
What Phillycore said. If you can do it on a weekday and willing to deviate, you won't beat Elk. If it has to be between Blue and Camel, to me it's an easy choice. Blue on a weekday, Camel on a weekend. For one ski day, would prefer Blue. But on a weekend with no VIP access, the lines would be intolerable. At least at Camel you would have the singles line at the quad and several fixed grip options with shorter waits.

I'm betting $449. There was a slight contraction on all deal prices this year, less discount on gift cards and one day passes sold on Black Friday, so to me that points to a minor increase. Unless there's a condo balloon payment due. Then all bets are off.
