  1. My only comment on this thread is that I didn’t find a bad spot of snow on the terrain that was advertised to be open today.
  2. The Stig showed up!
  3. Looks like they are still dumping on Main st, which surely means they didn’t groom it. Betting on them sticking to their word, vista only today
  4. Planning to be there solo tomorrow for opening for a run or three, assuming only vista lift. Same for Saturday, open until lines are unbearable, hopefully a little longer with Main Street. Pops works both days, but we should both be there Sunday morning.
  5. I thought that was him IN emoji 5/6
  6. Nice warning on the tropical plants! That’s worth a like!
  7. Nah, I meant we might lot have to wait until morning to see, because it looks like they are gonna leave the lights on so we'll be able to see once it is cold enough
  8. I was assuming skiing from 830-850 (ish), beers until 945, then lunch, lol
  9. Who said it was?
  10. Where's everybody headed for lunch at 10 am, lol
  11. Hopefully won’t even have to wait. Lights are on, their page makes it sound like they’ll be on all night
  12. Facebook post announced Black Friday deals. $39 off peak tix and $49 peak for the few here without a pass. $10 bonus per hundo on gift card purchases for a discount of about 9%. Probably grab $500 to get a free $50. Not sure how much I have left on all those Sweet Deals cards I racked up.

  13. Even just adding that would be clutch if it’s to the top, because it would open a third lift.
  14. I can't wait to call them out on it. Freshly cut trail my ass, pretty sure that pass thru was always there, they just had a fence up across it
  15. I wasn't talking about Blue. You said "future ski area openings." I don't think its beyond reason to think that the 10+ inches of snow that fell at Montage, laying on top of snow they already made when Blue didn't, will help that snow survive until they can blow again leading to an opening earlier than otherwise
  16. Disagree
  17. Little inside joke nod . . .
  18. Both of them made snow every chance they could while Blue was sitting on their fans, and both got more snow from Tursday's storm. I have family in Scranton that said they got 11 inches, haven't fact checked that. Camel was really working the guns hard from what I saw on the webcams the other day. Not sure where they laid snow, but if I were them i would focus on Nile Mile, cliffhanger, Sunbowl, maybe Pocono raceway, and maybe Pharaoh/Bactrian if they want to open them as regular trails before making more snow to convert to park. That would let them focus on areas near the hotel to sell that sucker out, and areas with a grass base instead of the pavement of the waterpark up top. It would give them trails for all levels, they could give lessons on one half of Sunbowl, or could blow the lesson area up top if they wanted, since they would still have to open facilities up there for rentals. But tubing will probably be open . . .
  19. Leaving now. 10 Tannebaum laps in about 1:50. Well, 9 on Tannebaum and one on the closed Love Park, at least the part accessible from the lift serving Tannebaum. Hit our “waiting in line” limit. Fun to be back on the snow.
  20. Someone on that comment string said they removed Julius Caesar to put in a parking lot for the new amenities up top. If so, new trail is probably just a replacement slightly down the hilk
  21. I’m guessing they deleted your comment so they could delete their reply? I called them out. lol, shady ass outfit up there
  22. There was a tractor trailer curbed near the top southbound, before the second lane. Traffic backed up down into 5 points, where geniuses were sitting in the middle of the intersection, often for 2-4 light cycles, crushing traffic in all directions. And yes, so many people heading uphill with no concept of needing to keep momentum going
  23. There is in Bethlehem
  24. Lol, perhaps that was optimistic. Been an hour and GPS still says 30 minutes. I’m assuming that’s at least an hour. Haven’t moved much in 10 minutes. No excuse for the condition of 378 over the mountain
  25. Would have stayed over in Cherry Hill, but it’s son’s 3rd birthday. Have to get home. only one hour to go!
