  1. If you wear both at each mountain it's 4 days. Next level shit.
  2. Third parking row in the Valley, turn left. Grill might be out again tomorrow to start the year off right.
  3. I can't wait for the "What camera should I buy thread." I'll start: Nikon.
  4. You mean you don't wait on pins and needles for Salty's insanely long trip reports I mean, I don't mind that his reports are insanely long, I like long trip reports. Hell, I write insanely long trip reports. But his have too much fuckery in them. Trip reports should be at least mostly factual. Funny is fine, but save the fuckery for the lounge.
  5. I don't want to speak for everyone, but I think you've kind of reached the point where most people don't really care about what you post and are only (if that) looking for a spot to troll the troller.
  6. 177s would have just floated right down that due to the increased surface area.
  7. Just that it's the first Thursday of the month, and they're doing it three straight months with 70s, 80s, and 90s pricing respectively
  8. Usually if my lunch break is longer than an hour I count it as two days. Or if I go back out with a different set of skis, or a different jacket.
  9. I'll be there with at least one guy I work with who is taking advantage of the deal and borrowing one of my older sets of skis. Think Pops will be up as well
  10. It's pretty terrible when for $12 more a skier could just stop by Buckmans on the way to hill and get a ticket that's good for twice as long
  11. Yeah, $33 isn't tho, cheaper to get a regular priced 8 hour ticket than 2 of these for the person who wants to ski all day. I guess if you were shoehorned into a short session in the AM it might be alright . . .
  12. Will have $19 four hour passes the first Thursday in Feb as well., and $33 first Thursday in March which isn't really a great deal
  13. Might pop my head in the garage attic tomorrow afternoon and see if there is still a portable charcoal rig up there. Pretty sure there's not. I suppose the Weber Kettle is actually pretty portable . . .
  14. Ironically, it can be too cold to grill. When it's too cold, propane doesn't convert to a gas, or at least at a high enough pressure. Sunday's forecast high of 17 might be pushing it, but we'll give it a go. I don't think that I have a portable charcoal grill anymore, or I would go that route. Blue doesn't seem to have any rules against charcoal.
  15. yeah, I'm only 20 minutes away.
  16. I expect to be there all three days. Probably a short session tomorrow morning then returning in early afternoon after Pops gets off work. Sunday first thing and Monday . . . we'll see. Sunday being NYE, is it worth bringing the grill out or will people be running out of there with stuff to do?
  17. Not likes, like. Pardon the language, but they'll stop fucking with you when you stop fucking with everyone.
  18. Salty, nice purchase. The 177 probably would have been better, but you won't even notice it over the useful life of those skis to you. And you're not skiing on total crap now, so when you're ready for your next set you can afford to take your time and hit free demo days and test all kinds of brands and widths and lengths and really dial in on what you like best. In the meantime, these skis are gonna kick ass for you and you're gonna have a hell of a season. Also, I feel like you only purchased them from where you did to avoid buying Root his sixer, which is totally against the bro-code so I think you still owe it to him. As it is written so shall it be done. Now shut up and ski.
  19. But on the other hand, what would the lift lines be like with the 170 vs the 177? Lift lines are the most important factor in lyfe. One could sound pessimistic and say that he could have gotten down the mountain faster and MAYBE be one person further ahead in line on the 177s due to the spread of the body weight vs mass over the larger square footprint of the 177 vs the 170. But I say Salty should just console himself with the fact that on the 170s EVERY SINGLE LIFT LINE he stands in for the duration of the time he owns those skis will be roughly 7cm/2 shorter, pending binding placement of course. That's gonna add up over the average of 130 runs per day that he does, and really make the 170 a no-brainer for what's most important.
  20. Jesus. Just ski.
  21. QFT.
  22. Aw, shit! Widowmaker, son! Hope there's still some titty deep pow when I get up there tonight!
  23. Yeah, it's awesome. I made some two inch thick filet on Christmas Eve that were like butter, same with these lamb chops tonight. Also, LOL at this site having any sort of thread integrity.
  24. NMSki is the best poster on here, quality-wise. His reputation is almost 200 more than his post count.
  25. It will cost more than that for your skis and clothes to fly Frontier.
