  1. Thanks. That will be me if I get caught on a black diamond mogul field at Stowe.... except without the recoveries. Hoping for some accurate daily snow reports which indicate which trails have moguls.
  2. Omg I am almost choking on my WaWa spicy Italian sub from laughing. Can't wait to see how long it takes for "wew lad" tags to start appearing in Blue Mountain TRs.
  3. Here's the official definition: “Wew Lad” is an obfuscatory expression associated with circle jerking or shitposting, which is often accompanied by a poorly-drawn illustration of a man's face known as the “Wrinkle Face” or a digitally altered picture of the Doge, another funny meme." Source: Quora.com
  4. Main Street Grill in suburban Philadelphia.
  5. Well nothings ever definite. What If they double the price or something? Even if the probability is 99.99% that's still not definite.
  6. I originally had a double cheeseburger But it costs $7.99 so I put it back and got a single without the slice of cheese. $3 extra is too much for one patty and one slice of cheese. It was a really tasty burger though. The burger I had for lunch today was awful and I couldn't even finish it.
  7. Nah, they love you on here. You're in 3rd place in most liked posts. Congrats!
  8. Ok, as long as I dont have to wait more than 5 minutes per run in the VIP line at peak times then I dont mind. I normally dont ski Friday nights but if I do I'll send you a message. I've started doing Saturday and Sunday mornings to get all the fresh cord. Thanks for the beer offer but I only drink root beer or YooHoo. If i get a season pass for Blue I'll buy a 5 pack of beer for tailgating party for putting up with my posts.
  9. I was skiing poorly on Saturday night when it was icy, but much better and like a boss on Sunday when the snow was nice. Yes, expert skiers do well regardless of conditions, so it's something I aspire to. Im sure I'll meet you soon or next season if I get a season pass for Blue. I guess I will so I can ski better trails and have people to ski with every now and then, but I keep reading negative reports on Blues queue management. But at this time I tenatively plan to give Blue a try at least for one season.
  10. When can I start skiing Blue if I decide to get a pass there? For CB I couldn't ski on my pass until March 1.
  11. Ok will do. I tried bump skiing Barneys Bumps last year and ended up trying to power wedge them. Yeah, that didn't go well at all. Next weekend I am thinking of recording my skiing by attaching my GoPro to a ski pole and posting the video on here so you guys can criticize every little detail about it. I won't do it if no one is interested though.
  12. Once Camelback gets some bumps in late March then I'll become a bump skier. Until then all I can do is practice short radius turns on blue slopes, which I know isn't even close to the same thing but at least its a start. Until then I will be checking snow reports to make sure black runs aren't completely bumped up, so Outer Limits is off limits for me this season.
  13. Nice but this thread is no longer officially rad, though I got to keep my Wew Lad tag.
  14. Thanks, I'll be there early for First Trax. I'll be there Mon thru Wed, and then hit up Killington on Thu-Fri.
  15. If we get a significant snowfall again this year I'll have to stay at the hotel, or sleep in my car. We had powder a few days this year at First Trax, but I want to ski in the knee deep powder like in videos from out west.
  16. Plus i stopped bombing runs and have been working on turning substantially more than last season. A dude told me that you can put a sack of potatoes on skis and it will make it down the hill, and that completely changed my outlook on life.
  17. Naw man, I couldn't catch those guys. They're too fast for me. That night on Upper Main Street they were already at the Main Street lift when I was just getting near Lower Main Street.
  18. Haha. I'm not good at dealing with injuries or blood so I dont think I would qualify.
  19. It was public at one point because I went snowtubing there when I was younger, and friends of mine skied there back in the day.
  20. Cool, thanks for the invitation to go with Steeze!
  21. Damn I need to get out west. What's a good resort for low level intermediates? Will I need to rent powder skis? I want to do some hardcore powder skiing but not sure where to start.
  22. It's a shame they decided to operate it at the bare minimum just to advertise it as a resort amenity to sell property. I wonder if many residents would prefer a real mountain with snowmaking and open trails that is open to the public, as opposed to what they're currently stuck with? Glad you liked it while it was still public. Now I think you need to know someone that lives there AND pay $42 to ski 2 runs that are 179 feet in vertical drop.
  23. That was right before I started working there. How did you like it? Obviously quite a bit if you stayed for 5 years. It's really a nice mountain, albeit a small one, and the trail layout is pretty cool. It's too bad it's closed to the public now because it's only 15 minutes from my house, but the way they've been running it recently I would never get a pass there. It's already almost mid January and they only have 3 very short green runs open, and nothing top-to-bottom. Last year they closed in late February and weren't even open for the March blizzard. People complain on Facebook but I noticed they started deleting the negative posts and keeping the positive ones.
  24. I complained to Camelback last year because the lift attendant who was pairing up people was very mean to me. I very nicely and politely asked that she pair up some singles in front of me, since there were several groups of 2 and 3. Then she told me very rudely and cocky that she's in charge and if I dont like it to leave. I promptly sent a complaint to Camelback management and recommended her for remedial training in customer service. I think it worked because I haven't seen her this year. The lift attendants this season have all been super cool and have been doing a very good job at pairing up singles.
  25. Yep. So far I haven't seen any lines at any of the fixed gripped lifts at CB, so my game plan is to hit the HSQs early on and then switch to the fixed gripped lifts later in the day.
