The funny thing is I don't play video games anymore, now I just waste all my time on here.

Exactly, your clone liked my first post. See above. I wouldn't really count Sunday as a full day. I would never leave CB early because they have high speed lifts running at all times, even during preseason... (waits for incoming tactical nuke for last comment)

Actually I originally just made an account here to defend Camelback and didnt intend to keep posting. saltyant was the first thing I thought of so i just typed it really quick.

Played the game Microsoft Ants in the early 2000s. My username sucked so I needed a cool one. Couldnt come up with a name, but I was eating salty potato chips so I made my name __SaLtY_. Then i quit a few years later and started playing Runescape. Salty was taken so I just added ant to it to become Saltyant. Just sort of stuck, but I quit that game in 2007 and this is my first time reprising that legendary username now 10 years later.

Ok. I'll have root beer.

What time are you going? There's a 5% chance I might make the 1.5 hour drive up to ski from 6-10 using the gift card I earned.
-
Big announcement. CB open daily starting Friday, 12/15. Ski, ride, or even tube.
-
Sorry I dont speak hippy.

They should put a sign for Lower Main Street so we know that we're on a completely separate new trail at that point.
-
Wow no more death cookies on both individual trails. Nice
-
How were lines compared to Sunday? Hopefully a few minutes less waiting. Did they give you free cookies again? How was Upper Main?
-
Good stuff. Wow, two high speed six packs??? Sounds like my kinda place.

What do you mean by run gates?

Nice. I'm excited, I've never been there. Thursdays they're open until 10 so I'll get 5 hours of solid night skiing.
-
True. Spring Mountain is just sad, and Bear Creek is only open until 9 (confirmed via FB). I'll continue to do thorough analysis and determine if I should go to Blue.
-
Warminster. In January for 3 weeks I'll be 20 minutes away from Seven Springs and it's going to be awesome.
-
Thanks. I'm looking at Mon-Thurs because I'm in suburban Philly and looking at discounted lift tickets for night skiing the next 4 weeks. My options are Spring, Bear Creek and Blue. Blue's obviously superior but it's a damn long drive for me - 1 hour 20 out, 1 hour 26 back. Yikes!

Ok, we're kewl. Once lift lines were 15 minutes long around 10-11 am, I knew it was going to get exponentially worse the way the chip readers were slowing down the line. Afterwards, when we were chilling in the parking lot, the stream of cars coming in was crazy. I promise not to judge Blue based on this experience... too much! This is my first preseason experience, since last year at this time I was working as a lift attendant and not skiing. So I'm comparing the best times I had last year to current preseason conditions, which is totally not fair. Now I know what to expect next year early on and I won't be surprised when these kind of things happen.

Does anyone know what time Bear Creek closes during the week? Buckman's discounted tickets says 4-10pm, but BC's website doesn't specify a closing time. https://www.buckmans.com/buckmans-ski-snowboard/pa-ski-resort-lift-tickets.aspx

No one offered me a cookie. If I had a cookie maybe I would have stood in line longer. -

Wow, what a cool picture. I'm so happy you repost it every few days so everyone knows how cool GoPros attached to ski poles are. -
