My vote is for the 19th. I'll be in Coly-rado the following weekend.

TFTI. I plan to ski Jackson Frost tomorrow morning after the dumping but only because they have 100% open

I don't want to get yelled at by the FAA for dropping items out of a tiny window. It would be cool to attach a loudspeaker to the plane and announce, "Attention ladies and gentlemen of the Blue Mountain lower parking lot, prepare to witness the insane, awesome 100 horsepower of the mighty Rotax as the Evektor goes from idle to full throttle 1,000 feet overhead". -

It's a GoPro Hero+. I'll start a GoFundMe for a high definition GoPro. You're welcome and any time -

Airhead and I sort of blocked the lift loading area yesterday when we saw our friends GrilledSteezeSandwich and BenM, and others approaching, but we were courteous enough to let others pass and not waste their time. -

WJW I thought @enjoralas was going to Montage?? -
Toy plane flyover tomorrow from the west some time around 10, on my way to Joysee. Hold onto your hats and secure your tropical plants as the mighty Rotax engine goes full power directly overhead the parking lot.

For this travesty in damaging the integrity of the stats, I think Ben should take a ride on the Chair of Doom 2.0

What a pleasant surprise today, it was like at least zillion times better than last weekend. Except Challenge was the suck-a-roni, but everything else was pretty grate.

All that rain will be really good for the snowmaking ponds. And the rain made the snow super awesome today

Not good, ski patrol might see this and have patrollers stationed all along Burma this weekend, with a garrison right in this spot. -

He was keeping it on topic for the Blue thread. Lift tickets this weekend are dirt cheap at $99 for Saturday and 3 left @ $69 for Sunday. That's pretty rad. Maybe Ski2Live will be generous and consider paying to be a donation to Blue Mountain, then think of it as skiing for free -

There's always next season for my buddy pass competition. I think next year there will be a scavenger hunt in both the lower and upper lots where I hide taxidermied squirrels dressed in our favorite PASRs' ski gear, and whoever finds the most wins my buddy pass -

I think Ski Patrol will be ok with this as long as those skis have metal edges. @Benm -

Ok, Airhead and I will be skiing together on Saturday morning. We will look for you but you'll probably be just a blur due to ultra high rate of speed -

Doesn't sound too enthusiastic. Are you debating between skiing and watching classic NASCAR reruns all weekend? -
Yeah man, what the eff? I haven't used a stopwatch like Ski2Live would, but I strongly believe that riding any High Speed Lift is faster and more efficient than riding the old Main/Burma chairs, even with spending the extra 30 seconds on Homestretch etc. This is especially true now that there are never any real lines at any lift each weekend morning. I do not miss those slow lifts at all. If Blue can cut an extra trail thru beginner area to the new Main St lift that would save even more time and be super rad

Would the Indy Pass also give you access to concerts to see The Beagles? Asking for a friend @Ski2Live Live2Ski
-
Wao, I wish I could have been there to witness these magnificent skills. I normally sit on the lift while zoned out staring into space, not noticing the mad skillz of skiers and boarders below. But if I saw you showboating under the Main Street lift, I would have been like "wao, there goes that Atomic Skier guy, he should be in the O-Lympics". The moment would be accompanied by a lot of hootin' an' hollerin'.
-
If Montage would replace Long Haul with a high speed lift it might be worth it. But it just takes way too long to get to the top of the mountain riding those old slow lifts. On a Perder day I only did one top-to-bottom, which was rad, but it took like 15 minutes riding 2 lifts to get up. Ugh

I now like starting out my day doing Widow to Chute, it's mostly empty the first few runs except for some top lodge gapers merging from Vista. The walk to the new lift is a tad shorter than the others which is better for walking in ski boots. Plus there's usually no one there except for @theprogram4 and his cup of Wawa or McDonalds coffee. But don't tell anyone how great the new lift is or everyone will want to do it.
