  1. Sick! The 3 minute mark is like when I ski Uncle Bill's Way at Camelback.
  2. Be sure to wear your helmet GoPro and post some video footage
  3. @GrilledSteezeSandwich This reminds me of that one time when I parked my super awesome Sonic between 2 cars. It was so sick. I probably should have entered and exited the Sonic thru the trunk but I had a lot of junk in my trunk.
  4. Just try to read that and not hear Johnny Law's voice in your head. It's basically impossible
  5. @Ski2Live Live2Ski might be interested
  6. I know the area's geography pretty well so I usually fly by pilotage, or looking at landmarks. However, it can be confusing from seeing things from a different perspective. I've been to Pottsville (on the ground) numerous times but when flying, I'm still not certain if I'm seeing Pottsville, Schuylkill Haven, Frackville, or some other coal mining town. There are multiple ways to navigate. First is carrying the New York sectional chart. The plane has a GPS and autopilot, and I can enter any airport and the plane will fly there on its own. Finally I have my phone and a flying app which basically provides the same functionality as a GPS. It overlays the plane on the sectional chart and I can also punch in any destination and it'll draw a magenta line. So unless there's a massive satellite outage, electronic navigation is virtually guaranteed. It's still good to be aware of location at all times just in case. One of these weekend I'll take you up to Wilkes Barre if you're interested, or anywhere else you'd like to fly (within eastern PA or Jersey).
  7. After circling Blue da True I literally just followed the escarpment mountain range to Shawnee.
  8. Maybe I'll fly the toy plane into Nork to see you guys off and delay your flight by doing touch and gos
  9. Wow just wow, screw that. I don't do hotels with shared public bathrooms. They do have free cookies for nourishment so it's probably worth it. I wonder how many Ski2Live can fit in his ski jacket to eat at Hunter???
  10. That's a great deal. You're saving a lot. I hope the Cow Boys lose too so I don't have to hear about sportsball until next autumn.
  11. That's quite a bargain!! Did you find a good coupon or split the cost with Joy??
  12. There's always local skiing inside the shopping mart in Jersey. Maybe next January that'll be the PASR weekend hangout. I wonder if they have a paved parking lot for Enjorlas's grill??
  13. It was my second run too and wow, that suuuuuucked!
  14. Hey all, Back from a fun session at True Mountain the Blue Mountain. In the house were AtomicSkier, BenM, DirtyWolf, Enjolras, JohnnyLaw, JFDan, Matt Edgerton, Mixilplix, Mute, Nastar Glen, Ryan, Poohbear, Pops, PSUFly, TP4, and many many many others. First run down The Trail Coming Soon was sick, but the bottom of P-Diz was showing early signs of becoming a sugary wasteland. Second run down NMDW was the worst run I've done this season. After 2 runs hiked the tower hill which was infinitely better than skiing today and hung out in the parking lot. JADIP WTGAI
  15. When I was flying I was singing "Haters gonna hate, see me gyrate and inflate, my altitude and make a figure eight haters gonna hate"
  16. I did but the pictures from my digital camera from 2008 came out better than the GoPro videos.
  17. At one point I could see Camelback, Blue, BB and JF at the same time (turning my head around). We truly live in a cool area
  18. This is truly a great shot, it looks like PASRs are worshipping the flying SaltyAnt God Being of the Sky's.
  19. 6 Ski Resorts in One Day (1/21/23) Blue Mountain Shawnee Camelback Ski Resort (#1 rated in Pennsylvania) Big Boulder Jack Frost Eagle Rock (near Hazleton)
  20. Grate to see you'se guys today. It must have been amazing to hear the sheer power of the Rotax 912ULS 100 HP engine as I went full power over the lot. Flew over 6 ski resorts today - Blue, Shawnee, Camelback, Big Boulder, Jack Frost, and Eagle Rock. Was going to Bear Creek but decided to save a few dollars and skip it since I saw it off in the distance. Sick bird!
  21. Don't tell too many people... I don't want this secret getting out, Blue Mountain skiers might decide to get Camelback season passes and then they'll find all the hidden Powder stashes on Uncle Bill's Way.
  22. This is grate, Uncle Billy's Way is one of the top trails in the Poke N Oe'z
  23. Assuming they "release" 200 tickets it looks like 2 people paid to ski in the rain for 4 hours today. Wao
  24. Good on Blue, wouldn't want them to leave money on the Table
  25. On Sunday after my walk I needed to do some business so I toured the snowtubing area and found they have a lot more bathroom stalls over there. I think the ski area only has 3 private stalls but snowtubing had like 6. That was so rad. It's worth the extra walk but someone still sat next to me so I was triggered
