1/12/25nice snow and busy..Taco Sunday.

It was fine from 8:00 to about 9:18. Then it became a zoo thanks to Camelback, so I quit and sat in an Adirondack chair drinking coffee and ran into Grilled Steeze Sandwich getting off the mountain. Then I ate some tacos which were grate -

Correct. Trump is everyone's favorite President.

I messaged Camelback for a free season pass for next year, and half my money back for this year since the mountain is only half open. I am waiting patiently for these since Camelback has let us all down. I'm sure Camelback senior management is now working tirelessly to fulfill these requests.

This is grate. All we're missing is @eafand who could forget @Ski2Live Live2Ski??
-
I wonder if @Enjoralescousin aka The Cuz, aka Cuzzo, aka Cousin, will be at Blue Mountain the True Mountain tomorrow??
-
We should recruit Edward of the Bacon to the Camelback rants forum on the face books
-
The Camelback bathrooms are free, so they got that going for them which is nice

If Blue Mountain is closed tomorrow do you want to go to Camelback? I might be able to hook you up with a 1% discount off parking and maybe we can split a stale cookie.

Good one! Yes, I can ski the Cliffhanger so that means I'm a Xpert.

Pocono Raceway was rad this season. There were some NASCAR races and maybe some other events. It's called the Tricky Triangle for a reason. It is one of the premier tourist destination in the Poke In Hoes

Correct. Plus @theprogram4 confirmed it on Camelback's website. I valiantly salute him for all his hard work and investigative journalism.

Prob correct. Maybe the lift will work if they hired a Lift Maintenance Mechanic. I wonder if anyone applied since 12/26?? Maybe @VTmark_take2 is interested??

I am hearing unconfirmed rumors that movement may have been spotted at the Glen Chair. I repeat, the Glen Chair may be on the move. This is very exciting times for Camelback!
-
Sure is. Next time at Camelback I'm going to dress up as the Blue Mountain mascot and hand out paper map directions to Blue Mountain the True Mountain while standing next to the camel. I bet Blue Mountain will then earn enough money to finally move the terrain park from Barb's Way to anywhere else. That would be sickbird

I asked for a free season pass for next season, 2025-2026 or I won't go back to Camelback ever again!
-
Maybe they've given up on skiing and will just focus on tubin' and their fancy water park lodges.

@GrilledSteezeSandwich This is getting good. People are coming from Camelback to Blue Mountain because they've seen the light. Camelback is basically closed today (except for 2 gaper lifts) while True Blue is running near or at 100%. That's my boy Blue. I'm stuck on Blue. Today we are all Blue Mountain skiers and riders.

For all PASRs who will be heading to Camelback today, know this: The Black Bear Six lift will be closed on this glorious day. Also, the Stevenson Lift will also be closed. However, you may ride the Sunbowl and the Meadows lifts which are pretty rad and can access some groovy green circle trails. That is all. Over and out. s

Today I skied in Vermont without the drive and with brahs. In the house were some brahs. Left my house at 0900 and drove up while drinking some hot coffee. Met up with my brah, who met up with some of his brahs, who discussed their brahcation. Then some brah hooked me up with a free WVIA ski lift ticket to ski Vermont. That was sick. Skied some runs like a boss. Afterwords drove home and drank some ice cold coffee. JADIP WTGAI

I loved riding Old Bailey on busy days instead of sitting butt to nut on Sullivan Lift. Usually no one was on it unless it was really really busy. I've rarely seen many of the other fixed grips run in my time other than the Glenn Chair and I think Pocono Raceway once

That would be a treat! We could all tailgate in the paved lots of Camelback and not get mud all over our ski boots while consuming copious amounts of Yoo-Hoos.
