I got back to Philly around 12:15 AM, home like 2:30 AM. It wasn't terrible since I was still used Pacific Standard Time, but still sucked getting up for work this morning -

thanks for noticing. I got a haircut before I left the flight back kinda sucked - delayed out of Spokane and I had 10 minutes to make my connection in Denver. -

Walked around downtown Spokane this morning, checked out Spokane falls. They have a carousel and a gondola that goes over the falls, but they hadn't opened yet. Hit uprise brewing after that for taquitos and a beer and then left for the airport. Also posting some pics the fishing guide sent. Great trip...never waited in a lift line, empty slopes, good beers, and good fishing. I'd like to come back for some mid winter conditions and hit more stuff. -

Checked out an overlook to Lava Falls after white pass, then left for Yakima and hit Bale Breaker Brewing. Yakima is a popular area for hop growing and Bale Breaker grows their own hops. Lot of breweries in that area, wish I had more time there. Checked out a park overlooking the Columbia River on the way back...stopped and played with some stocked rainbow trout for a bit in a pond off interstate 82...back in spokane now getting a beer. Probably won't ride tomorrow as I'd only have about an hour. May check out spokane falls, have a beer/lunch and maybe fish a bit -

Mostly rode the stuff off coulior chair...glades off west ridge were great. Some of the trails don't have much pitch but the glades, blacks, and double blacks are pretty good. There are also some open bowls, but some had choppy snow, glades were much better. Had a beer, bratwurst, and soup at the mid mountain lodge. Overall, definitely the best snow I've had. All the mountains i hit were great but I think white pass and lost trail are my favorites. -

Rental car is a Subaru ascent. Nice car but the tires are terrible. Luckily the roads have been fine, even today -

White pass is awesome. I'll post more pics later. Gonna do a few more runs and get ready to head to Spokane. Snow overnight and snowing all day. Only downside is the visibility is terrible so you can't see mount Rainier. -
Nice upgrade from your skis...

Nymphs, leech patterns, and san Juan worms. The big trout I lost in Montana was on a stonefly pattern and had some hits on dry flies -

Rode at lookout pass from 9 to 1...conditions ranged from soft groomers, firm corduroy, and crusty snow in the glades. There looks to be some good access to backcountry areas there. They have a ton of snow, seems to snow there a lot more than Silver which is like 20 minutes away. Fished a little on the way back and now enroute to central Washington. Hanging out at Post Falls Brewing, great beer. Hitting white pass in Washington tomorrow. Possibly 49 degrees north Tuesday although my flight boards at 1 25, so may skip riding and fish/hit a brewery -

Spent most of the day fishing the Couer D'Alene river...caught a bunch of west slope cutthroat trout, which was cool, Fish up to 17 inches. The guide is going to send me pics in the next couple days but I took a few with my phone. Wandered around the town of Wallace tonight, cool mining town with some breweries and restaurants. Hit Northern Idaho Brewing, Wallace Brewing, and then blackboard Cafe for dinner. Steelhead trout for dinner and took a peanut butter banana milkshake to go. -
Yeah, when i saw the weather for today l was expecting that and chose lost trail instead. I'd love to get to whitefish on my next trip out here

Wrapped up at lost trail around 2 30. Had a bratwurst and Bitterroot Brewing IPA and then fished for a bit on the way back to Missoula...lost a big trout and a few takes on dry flies but nothing officially caught. Saw a muskrat swimming around and some cool birds while fishing at a wildlife refuge. Drove back to Missoula and hit Imagine Nation Brewing for a flight and also got tacos from the food truck. Now I'm at Big Sky Brewing for another flight before I head back to the condo -

More lost trail pics. Awesome place, I'd love to come back. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of some of the trees runs or another chute/bowl that I did. I tried using my ghetto go pro but apparently I just took a picture of the ground 😐 I don't have the remote with me so I was trying to turn it to video mode while it was on my helmet -

Lost trail was awesome. The chair 4 stuff reminds me a bit of the stuff off Millie at Brighton. Chutes, cliffs, trees, bowls, and some nice groomers. Started off by hitting some stuff off the chair near the lodge...then over to chair 4. Did a trail and then a chute called wall of fame and also a few tree runs. It was a little sketchy and icy at the top but the rest was nice. Also hit some groomers which were firm to start but softened up by mid morning. Went out sacajawea trees, which turned out to be a bad idea as I ended up hiking back pretty far once it flattened out. Trees got pretty tight but at the top they were pretty manageable. -

Yesterday at the mountain I had a chicken sandwich...cooked chicken back at the condo last night and hit Radio Brewing for a late lunch today. Terrible pic but I had a peanut butter burger with Mexican pasta salad. Did a little fishing after that but nothing happening. Probably try a bit further up river next time i fish -

Pretty good day at Silver mountain. Ride 9 30 to 1 30, most of the same trails as yesterday but explored some of the glades a bit today. South facing side was nice and pretty sunny, stuff off chairs 3 and 4 was super foggy. Really cool mountain and some pretty steep runs. Also a trail called half pipe thats a natural half pipe as the name suggests. I'd like to come back when more stuff is open but I still had a great time- 43 replies

Pretty good day at Silver mountain. They have some pretty steep runs although some of the stuff off lift 4, as well as the North Face, was closed for avalanche risk. The glades that were open were pretty fun and good spacing in the trees. It was a little confusing to get around and I had to avoid the cat tracks since the snow was pretty slow. It was probably 75 degrees at one point, I was drinking beers in a t shirt. Got back to the base area around 3 and did some fishing. The river is running pretty high from the snow melting. I went fishing after dinner too and missed a few fish on dry flies, but there wasn't much action.- 43 replies

Condo is pretty awesome. Think my plan is to hit Silver today and tomorrow or Sunday. Somewhere in Montana Friday...fishing Saturday so may or may not ride depending on what time the trip is done. Lookout pass either tomorrow or Sunday. Somewhere in Washington Monday and probably a short session at 49 degrees north Tuesday before flying back- 43 replies

77 in town here for a high today in Idaho. But should be some snow in the mountains the next few days -
Currently eating way too much at the Capital one lounge in Denver Airport. Flight boards for Spokane in about 2 hours. Not sure what my schedule is for mountains. Lookout pass, lost trail, Silver, and 49 degrees north for sure. Maybe Montana Snowbowl, Whitefish, or Blacktail. Maybe guided fishing one morning or afternoon if I feel like it.

Awesome day. Snow was pretty good, stayed until 5 30 ish...Enjorales kept putting insanely good food out all day...Great beers, hanging out with the best parking lot crew all day was a great end to what is likely my last day on the snow in PA this season
