  1. Probably Saturday for some spring weather and beers
  2. Yeah it's an awesome place, planning on going back next month. I think tickets are cheaper if you buy online ahead of time and they offer half day also
  3. I was just messing with you, doesn't really bother me where anyone skis
  4. Bolton is cheap too and still a ton of snow in the trees there. Worth a visit for sure, not far from Stowe.
  5. Yeah I would think it'll be cold enough to blow snow some nights if needed. Hoping to make it Saturday for some spring conditions
  6. He only skis further north unlike us PA peasants
  7. The explorer has a keypad to unlock the doors. I've used it a few times to fish when I didn't want to bring the keys with me. I'm not sure I even remember the code anymore though
  8. Yeah for the price I'd say its worth getting them. The atomic orange lenses are the ones I have currently, which adjust to the light conditions
  9. Yeah I had actually bought a pair recently too. Ordered a second just now. They definitely help especially when its cold and you're wearing a facemask or something
  10. Also 50 % off certain lenses if you buy a pair of goggles @NMSKI if you need an extra pair Atomic Orange, Crystal Ice, Silver Blaze, Clear, and Eclipse Black
  11. Abom heated goggles are on clearance...
  12. Looks like you guys got some awesome conditions, especially on white lightning. @mute1080, hope you liked the beer, I'll have plenty of Tree House and other stuff at Blue next time.
  13. Thanks - yeah I think I would've been better off hitting Treehouse brewing's western MA location as that would've likely given me a better route home Great trip, got another planned first weekend in March...planning on doing Jay Peak, probably Bolton again, and maybe one other mountain
  14. Thanks guys. Taking daughter to the doctor this morning. Have fun today and post pics. Hopefully be back at blue this weekend
  15. Yeah great trip, I think around 1300 miles total. The drive wasn't bad except driving through CT at rush hour tonight. Also, picked up a few beers I'll share of course
  16. Thanks! Yeah I'll likely be wearing a mask at home to hopefully avoid getting sick
  17. I'm not gonna be able to make it tomorrow. Wife has the flu, daughter has something else but shes pretty miserable so I'll be hanging out at home tomorrow. Pretty lame to bail on a trip thread I started but probably not a good idea for me to come hang out after wiping her nose all night
  18. Those glades opened up to an intermediate trail. Deep untracked powder on the skiers right side. Hike back to the lift sucks but well worth it
  19. Mittersill glades (idiot's delight and candy land). Also a t bar ride and the race course which had nice snow
  20. Nope, only weekends. Yeah did a few runs there this morning
  21. Mittersill is much better than the front side. Had to take 2 lifts to the summit, down an intermediate and then hike up this trail in the second pic Visibility from the summit in first pic
  22. Don't knock it till you've tried it. Pierogies are good, plenty of varieties. Maybe I'll bring some to Blue
  23. Try mom and pops pierogies in wilkes barre for stuff to go, pierogies, kielbasa, stuffed cabbage. If you're there after 4PM, breaker brewing is like 2 minutes away
  24. Yeah the face was sketchy when I was there. Cool trail though
