  1. Currently eating way too much at the Capital one lounge in Denver Airport. Flight boards for Spokane in about 2 hours. Not sure what my schedule is for mountains. Lookout pass, lost trail, Silver, and 49 degrees north for sure. Maybe Montana Snowbowl, Whitefish, or Blacktail. Maybe guided fishing one morning or afternoon if I feel like it.
  2. Awesome day. Snow was pretty good, stayed until 5 30 ish...Enjorales kept putting insanely good food out all day...Great beers, hanging out with the best parking lot crew all day was a great end to what is likely my last day on the snow in PA this season
  3. Picked up a dozen donuts, some breakfast stuffed pretzel wraps, and mini smoked sausage/cheese bites wrapped in soft pretzels. I can bring some plates and stuff if needed
  4. Off of 5th street highway, Reading
  5. Just Sunday...got a family gathering Saturday in NJ
  6. I was bummed they closed Saturday, didn't make it to Bear creek this season
  7. I'll try to pick up some stuff from the farmers market Saturday. Donuts and soft pretzels maybe. I'll bring plenty of beer too
  8. Montage is open all week until 7. I should still have a free ticket if anyone is going. Work is crazy this week so I won't make it
  9. I fly in late 3/25 and have the condo booked through 3/30. I'll probably stay near Spokane after that on 3/30 and 3/31 and hit 49 Degrees North
  10. How have the conditions been at Whitefish? looks pretty good from the recent pics, especially Sunday's post. I may do a day at Whitefish depending on where I end up on Montana at the end of the month
  11. switching up my trip plans a bit - I found a condo 5 minutes from Silver Mountain for dirt cheap - skipping Brundage/Tamarack probably since that's pretty far out of the way...I'll do 49 degrees north, Lookout Pass, Silver (probably 2 days), and probably 2 days in Montana. Condo sleeps 6 if anyone wants to hang out
  12. sounds crazy, great job on getting out there and volunteering. Normally I'd make fun of you for posting in last year's (2023/2024) ski season thread, but given the situation, I will behave myself
  13. Appreciate the insight @toast21602/ @Johnny Law...I think my plan is 49 degrees North, Silver Mountain, Lookout Pass, Brundage, and Tamarack - hopefully somewhere in Western Montana too. Lost Trail Powder Mountain and Montana Snowbowl both look cool
  14. flying out to Spokane Tuesday night 3/25 and back Tuesday afternoon 4/1. not exactly sure where I'm going yet - 49 degrees north for sure, Silver...maybe Brundage/Tamarack and/or western Montana? Being there for a week should give me plenty of time to drive around, even if places are further away
  15. JF Dan, Johnny Law, schif, Nancy, Mixilplix, BenM, DirtWolf, Toast, Bethlehem ford crew, and some others in the house. Conditions ranged from firm to sugar but low crowds made for a fun day.
  16. Either Saturday or Sunday. Leaning towards Sunday since I think it's supposed to be less windy, plus I might catch a glimpse of @toast21602
  17. 15 different places I think? Yeah only one indy pass redemption per day but the only indy place I paid for was Dartmouth. All the other tickets were less than 50 each except for Pico.
  18. It's a fun place and grooming is really good. The weekday tickets are cheap...40 bucks and I think non holiday week Fridays are 25
  19. Catamount...pretty fun place, better terrain than Butternut and surprisingly good conditions. The amount of signs around the double black runs is comical. Still some fresh cord at 2 pm. May do a few more runs after a BBQ chicken sandwich and dark and stormy and then back to PA
  20. I'm at Butternut this morning. Pretty fun mountain, 1000' vertical and empty. Not much challenging terrain but the awesome grooming makes up for it. I'll do a few more runs then stopping at Catamount for a bit
  21. Yeah not sure on the development part, that's what I read too. The terrain above the top of the t bar looked pretty cool but you'd have to skin up on a good snow day. https://www.ascutneyoutdoors.org/our-history/ The lodge (they call it a "discovery center") was completed in 2018, t bar in 2019, so relatively recent. Definitely a cool place to check out. No real challenging terrain off the t bar but fun nonetheless
  22. After S6, it was about 2 45...decided to hit another community t bar hill. Ascutney. T bar only runs like 450' vertical but you can skin up much higher if you want. Cool terrain, conditions surprisingly not too bad. Got 4 tbar laps in before they closed at 4....now at Treehouse in Deerfield for beers and pizza
  23. Saskadeba/Suicide Six...cool place but unfortunately all the trees runs and natural snow trails were closed due to the ice. Hit all the open runs in about an hour...did the face and one other run a second time and headed out. Very cool terrain for a small mountain, wish conditions were better for the trees
  24. Rode pico from 9 to 1. It was cold and sunny, conditions ranged from leftover powder to ice, but for the most part, the snow was good given the weather the past 2 days. Started off on Golden express, then over to the outpost pod, then some runs on the Summit express. Doozie off of outpost was a fun tree run. Also dipped into Pico glades. Never Summer had a demo tent so I rode their boards all morning. Got a bratwurst to go and ate at the car before heading to Saskadena Six
  25. Yeah I'm interested to check it out. Not a place I'd spend an entire day but it's only like 15 minutes out of my way between Pico and where I'm staying in MA tonight so I'll ride there for a bit
