  1. Awesome...gonna try to drag the wife and kid up one week soon for the $40 weekdays
  2. Was just thinking about this thread last night - I wonder if Blue Marsh ski area is skiable/rideable and if anyone would throw a fit if I hiked it for some turns...
  3. Also 2 and 3 am....0.4 inches of freezing rain. If it's not shitty in the morning and I'm feeling ok I'll still try to make it. Just pointing out what I saw as far as weather...
  4. Says freezing rain tonight/tomorrow morning for palmerton. Not sure if I'll make it anyway but we'll see. I was working on stuff in the basement all day and inhaled a lot of dust and stuff...been sneezing for hours
  5. Kinda related to Blue Knob...Gravity Hill in Bedford was kinda cool. I remember making my buddy (who wasn't drinking) drive us there while the rest of us were intoxicated. https://www.gravityhill.com/index.html
  6. If it makes you feel any better, I lost my gloves at my last trip to Blue...cheap Amazon gloves, but unfortunately it had my season pass in the glove. Not sure if I left them at Blue, or if I left them outside at my house after I got home (in which case, they're buried somewhere in the snow).
  7. Yes - your grease stained and hazy pictures from the picturesque Blue Mountain Valley parking lot are truly works of art
  8. Either Saturday or Sunday morning...not sure which yet
  9. Yes - @GrilledSteezeSandwich@theprogram4, that entire movie is hilarious. I'll have to dig it out and watch it this weekend, I have it somewhere on DVD, along with a box set of Beavis and Butthead DVD's. On a COVID related note, my kid's daycare is shut down until the 22nd due to a positive case.
  10. Saying 1-3" for Reading tomorrow. Not really enough to get excited about, but it should add to the base on the sledding hill at least
  11. Nice Minnie/Mickey mouse toy. My daughter would be jealous
  12. Sounds like a nice day, except for Big Al...hopefully ends up being just a sprained ankle
  13. Good to see you post, hope things get better for you. We were just talking yesterday at Elk that we miss all your contributions to the beer thread. I guess with your health stuff going on, probably can't drink as much.
  14. Nice report. My only time there, a lot of the natural stuff wasn't open but I still really enjoyed it. If they keep getting snow, I'm gonna make a trip there this year
  15. Nice meeting you today. I hadn't been to Elk in at least 15 years. I'll try to make it at least once a year, it's an awesome mountain
  16. Yeah today was awesome. Great time riding with everyone....tons of great food and beers. Really happy to get a good day in yesterday at Greek Peak and then come to Elk today for an awesome day. Only way it could've been better is if I stopped to fish somewhere. I did bring a fly rod with me, but didn't feel like paying for a NY license yesterday
  17. Plenty of meat too...and beer...and donuts...and snacks
  18. Old forge pizza...thanks @rummy
  19. Guest at our halfway house party...interesting outfit
  20. It was pretty empty overall...similar to montage with the lack of crowds. I think aesop's glade was the middle mtn glade. Hit a few others, only one I remember seeing a sign for was alsos glade. There was a bump run on the east side that was really fun...urethra or something haha. Also, there's a creek running through the edge of one of the trails that I hit and wiped out
  21. We're back out on the snow. We'll be here for a while- we just stopped for a few beers
  22. I'm in one of the lower lots. Anyone here yet?
