Seriously, WTF is with this Weather?
PSUFrankenstein replied to Ride Delaware ?'s topic in General Chat
Yeah we just had a bad storm with hail. I told my daughter I'd take her fishing after work but I don't think that's gonna happen -
At least that person wont have to worry about washing/disinfecting their clothes...

Yeah I'm at least going to keep liability and comprehensive on it. I'm currently paying around $ 55 a month in insurance for the Jeep and it maybe sees 250 miles in a regular month. I'm going to see what I can do to get the payment lower on at least the Jeep.
-
That's nice of them. Hopefully Nationwide follows through with the same thing. I need to call them anyway to drop part of the coverage on my Jeep, so I'll say something then.
-
I don't, but if I did, I would wear them to Blue. I did have MC Hammer's album (actually it was probably a cassette) with that song on it when I was a kid.

Haha I would not want to be within 6 feet of you when you're on the toilet anyway. I'm probably over an hour from you, so it wouldn't work out - you'd probably soil yourself before you got here
-
You're more than welcome to come take a dump at my house (in the toilet, preferably).

Giant and Weis near me haven't had any when I've been there. The less popular grocery stores (at least near me) like Aldi and Grocery Outlet Bargain Market or whatever have supposedly been better stocked, not sure exactly what stores are in your 'hood.

I guess we have a good idea what toast did on his 14 day quarantine

Yeah I think most fast food is drive thru only right now. I havent really been anywhere except Dunkin Donuts, but most fast food places I've driven by have signs saying only drive thru ordering.

Haha yeah good point...I do think a lot of people are following the stay at home orders but some people just don't seem to care. I had to stop at my parents over Friday evening to do a few things since we didn't have hot water, and driving home (a half hour or so), I think I saw like 4 cars on the road.
-
Also, some people just don't get the stay at home thing unless you need to be out. I had to pick up a few things at the grocery store yesterday (weekly trip for milk and a few other necessary things) and I overheard a guy telling a store employee "Yeah, I've been just coming here every day since I'm bored. I don't really need anything, but it's nice just getting out and walking around and seeing people." I wanted to kick him in the nuts

I have a sweet 5wt Eagle Claw rod that would be perfect for some stocked tuna.

Sounds like opening day for trout in PA too. I haven't gone since like 2006 and it was a mess then, I'm sure it's worse now. If I get out to fish, it's going to be smallmouth bass in the river or at a local pond on a friend's property, no stocked trout. I normally start fishing saltwater early April, but that's not gonna happen for me until things start getting better

I think fishing, biking, etc. are also allowed from what I've read. I was reading something about park facilities being closed, but activities at the parks such as kayaking, fishing, biking, and hiking were allowed as long as safe distances were followed and no congregating of people.

Day care workers in general get a lot of my respect. My daughter is awesome, but dealing with 20 or 30 of her at a time? No thanks. Plus dealing with all the germs and bodily fluids haha
-
Yeah, I'm sure I'll have to cut it before then. I should probably pay more attention to my lawn, but not enough time for that.
-
I'd be ok if I don't have to cut my grass for another month. I did trim some of the trees yesterday and today

I guess that's what happens when people don't follow the lockdown orders. I guess maybe it could be partially due to the fact that more people are getting tested and results are getting reported?

My wife's work is pretty busy. She does underwriting stuff for a bank and all the companies that aren't working currently are deferring their loans, so she has a ton of extra paperwork to do

He just makes the bamboo SUP paddles. With shipping, the sale price is $ 190 right now. I honestly probably don't NEED a bamboo paddle, but they're really nice. This is the SUP I have, the FS7 fishing board. I think I paid $ 300 a couple years ago. It's an inflatable so I always deflate it for transport. It's a pretty solid board, super stable and durable. Definitely not a fast board though, and not great when it's choppy https://www.amazon.com/Zray-Inflatable-Adjustable-Aluminum-High-Pressure/dp/B07HGQ33DN
