  1. Yeah I used to ride there when I was in middle school. Did anyone give you shit about going there or did you have to get permission to check it out?
  2. Getting ready to make some sweet lines in the yard.
  3. I think I was there too. And mixilplix and tp4. Snow was decent. Even got a few razors runs this morning although it wasn't that great
  4. Parking lot was good today, lots of good snacks and beer. Snow was firm and fast, but not really icy. I should be up tomorrow too.
  5. Glitter Parts was originally going to be named Glitter Farts (apparently Trolls fart glitter clouds in cartoons or something). I was listening to an interview with Levante earlier this week.
  6. Saturday morning, maybe Sunday too
  7. biscuits and gravy sound good. If needed, i can bring my stove to heat stuff up too. For the wow factor, can you arrange for some scantily clad waitresses to serve us our food, Walt?
  8. I'll be there. I make chocolate peanut butter chip cookies that are pretty awesome. I'll make those and whatever else people need. I can bring my stove if necessary. I can probably do smoked pulled chicken and it can just be reheated on the flat top or whatever.
  9. Good day today, icy in some spots. The new camp stove worked out pretty well, definitely burns hotter than my old Coleman one so I have to get used to that. Glad everyone like the breakfast, not nearly as good as Enjorales, but a good breakfast sandwich after skiing/riding is always good
  10. I got a new camp stove yesterday...as long as it works, I"ll try making breakfast sandwiches on it in the lot later. Won't be enjorales quality food, but I'm sure no one will complain
  11. I should be there Sunday
  12. I'd like to hit Elk or Montage at some point before the season is over, partly so I have a reason to hit Breaker Brewing and maybe stop at the pierogi shop in Wilkes Barre. I'm not sure I can do it this weekend though.
  13. Have fun, take lots of pics so we have something to talk about later other than Malvern and mushrooms
  14. Yeah today was good...NMDW and Sidewinder were my favorites today. Everything was pretty good except falls and a few other spots. Weather was awesome...only thing missing was parking lot meats and breakfast sandwiches
  15. Hopefully today is just as good. I'll be up like 8 15, gonna stop and get bagels for the parking lot...Panera in Whitehall doesn't open until 7 30
  16. Have a good trip guys, looking forward to seeing pics and reports. Here are a few past steamboat pics to clutter your thread. First two are in Triangle trees off storm peak lift. Third is hiking the second part of east face on a powder day
  17. When I go out west, and occasionally when I fish, I bring my Olympus digital camera. I think it's the Stylus Tough model or something like that...waterproof, crushproof, etc. I guess it's kind of a pain carrying that plus a phone, but at least I don't have to worry about dropping my phone in the snow or off the lift.
  18. Blue Knob is awesome if there's a good amount of natural snow. Looks like they don't have a lot of trails open currently
  19. I think I only made it to Tussey twice when I was at Penn State...Blue Knob once. They had a stocked fishing pond across from the mountain, I used to fish that when it was warmer
  20. I plan on making it one of the days...not sure which day yet. Should be nice spring conditions once it warms up.
  21. Looking forward to the trip report. I haven't been to Steamboat in a few years, but always had fun there.
  22. I would have liked to. He was pretty chill and good with kids
  23. I was hoping to make it to Blue again today, at least for a morning session. I took the day off since my wife and kid both have off, but wife is sick. I took my daughter to the library to read books with a puppy, and then we hit the playground
  24. Supposedly this past weekend was the last weekend for NMDW being closed...Lady on the lift told me her son was in the boardercross program and it was the last weekend for it. And yeah, it seems tickets are expensive everywhere. Imagine if these idiots complaining about costs and crowds went out west and paid $ 200 or whatever it is to ski Vail/Breck/whatever and dealing with those crowds on a weekend or powder day.
  25. First run down nightmare dreamweaver was awesome. Would have lapped that if they didn't close it. Sidewinder and main street were good and switch was a little more firm but still good. The glades were pretty much solid ice, at least the ones I hit. Parking lot brunch was amazing.
