  1. I can deal with it being hot/humid, just getting tired of it pouring pretty much every day. Same thing happened last summer. It messes with my fishing too.
  2. I've had enough of this rain. Woke up to a flooded basement this morning and roads are flooded so my shitty commute sucked even more.
  3. I upgraded my kayak racks recently...If any of you guys can use these and can pick them up or meet up, these are free to PASR's. I've had them about 8 years I think, still fully functional and has all the hardware. They fit one or two kayaks depending on how you have the center bar adjusted, and also fold flat.

  4. Steamboat does have some gnarly stuff, but it's all relatively short...not any long sustained steep pitches. The tree skiing there is pretty awesome though, and there are some nice runs out of bounds that are easily accessible if you know where to look
  5. yeah, I kinda agree...Steamboat can be a lot of fun with good conditions...but if my friend didn't live there, I probably wouldn't have went there.
  6. Salty you would like Copper too (not sure if you made it there on your trip). plenty of easier terrain and groomers (their grooming was perfect when I was there), and trees and back bowls and stuff if you feel like doing that. Steamboat is cool too, I've spent a lot of time there since my friend lives there. I'll probably try to do an April trip to CO again next year. Probably Copper/A-Basin/Loveland again, maybe venture somewhere else. Winter Park is cool too. I'll start looking at flights in January probably
  7. Taking the SUP out for a paddle. River is still pretty high so more exercise than fishing I guess
  8. Yeah we live 20 min north of where the tornado hit in Morgantown. Had hail and heavy storms but no wind. We heard what sounded like a tornado for a while so we hung out in the basement for a half hour. If it weren't for keeping the kid safe I would've been in the deck with a beer watching the storm
  9. Yeah Florida has great fishing and some nice beaches. And a lot of crackheads and old people.
  10. Nice report. I spent most of my time at winter park on the Mary Jane side because pano and a lot of other lifts were on wind hold. Some good tree runs there. Ever stop at the Ditch on 40 near winter park? Good food and there's a brewery next to it that was good.
  11. Awesome pics. Tommyknocker brewing is a cool place, I've stopped there a few times heading back to Denver.
  12. Nice pics Mike. Never caught a tarpon either. The only time I targeted them, they wouldn't touch any of the flies I threw at them, but it was still awesome just casting to 150+ fish. I did hook one off a beach in SW Florida, but it broke the leader pretty quickly
  13. I was last night...I would say I fish with the kayak one out of every three trips. it depends on where I'm fishing. If I'm doing beach front or fishing from jetties, I'm on foot. My casting range is limited with the fly rod, so the kayak is definitely helpful Yeah, I fish bridges and light/shadow lines a lot at night, the kayak is nice since I can get to spots that aren't accessible on foot. My fishing time decreased after my daughter was born too, but night fishing still works and doesn't affect family time too much
  14. Love that area. I spend a lot of time fishing from Somers point down to cape may
  15. Salt...I was fishing back bays behind stone harbor and Avalon.
  16. Took a nice paddle and met up with some of my finned friends
  17. Nice, wish I was able to check out the Beavers terrain but lift was closed the day I was there. I had fun in the trees off Montezuma. The runs off mountain goat traverse or whatever had a lot of good snow
  18. Yeah I guess it moved. I was at the new location when I was in Colorado earlier this month. Here's the new address. I thought it was in Dillon but I guess it's still Silverthorne Pho Bay (Silverthorne) Address: 270 Summit Place Shopping Center, Silverthorne, CO 80498 Telephone: (970) 368-6530 Monday-Saturday 11am-9:30pm Sunday Closed
  19. Nice reports. Copper is awesome. I remember doing gold digger, it was groomed nicely. Did you hit any of the back bowls? The Vietnamese place in Dillon (Pho Bay) is good. There's a German place in Frisco that's good, I think it was called Prost or something. Also a cajun place that's good, Lost Cajun.
  20. nice pics, that Bloody Mary looks delicious.
  21. Have a good trip, looking forward to the pics. Looks like you should get some snow this week
  22. Loveland does have a high speed quad. I think its pretty new but it doesn't cover a lot of trails, at least ones I wanted to do. Southwest and other airlines had computer issues the week I flew out and had to rebook flights over the next few weeks. Could be why your flight got changed too.
  23. He doesn't want to show off his spring ski outfits
